Hi guys, Welcome to my 2016 blog!

I've decided to start a new blog as my old one was running a little lack luster and not very interesting for anyone to read. The past 6 weeks i've spent learning the game again and working hard. I have learnt a lot so far but i can see there is so much to learn and implement that even when i eventually hit NL100 i'll be learning even more! _thumbsup:

My Background :
I'm just an average 24 year old guy with dreams of earning big money and having freedom to travel the world while i have few attachments holding me back. I've played poker since i was 18 always depositing and losing money until about 6 weeks ago where i began to take it more seriously. So far i have got from $50 to $428.63 playing on 888 where i am now going to switch to Betfair as it is the only site i can get a first deposit bonus of 200% plus a much better VIP system. Although the currency differences are really annoying.

I also have a huge passion for motoring and motorbikes in particular, especially since i live so close to some of the best scenery in the UK :

I will be starting with a €400 deposit carrying my bankroll over and continuing my bankroll challenge.

Good luck to all and Happy New year! :f_drink:

My bankroll management:
NL10 - €250
NL20 - €500
NL50 - €1750
NL100 - €4500
NL200 - €9000

With each level I plan on a 5 BI shot and then dropping back down if i drop below 40BI's for lower limit. E.g. Playing NL20 with €500 but dropping to NL10 if i drop down to €400.

Goals for January :
- Play 50,000 hands
- Clear €800 bonus (45 days to do so)
- Reach comfortable NL20 bankroll (€700)
- At least 2 session reviews per week
- go back to the gym

Goals for 2016 :
- Visit 4 different countries(more if I hit later goals)
- Reach NL100 Bankroll (€4500)
- Go to the gym 4+ days a week no matter what.
- Become a shark @ the tables!
- Turn semi-pro so I can leave my job and travel.

Bankroll Challenge results:
Starting bankroll : $50
Week 1 - $129
Week 2 - $130
Week 3 - $82
Week 4 - $362
Week 5 - $260
Week 6 - $210
Week 7 - $498
Week 8 - $545
Week 9 - $601
Week 10 - $645
Week 11 - $601
Week 12 - $493

Hey guys, How's everyone's Sunday grind going ?

I'm finally getting used to the Ipoker skin and not letting anything tilt me as there are so many "fun" players :f_love:
I seem to be off to a good start so hopefully i can have my best ever month in poker this January

From what I can see my first deposit bonus worked so i have €814 (€10 cleared already) to clear and the rakeback is also very good. Works out at €1 for 375 VPP's - I have already got 5,830 VPP's.
I have been playing normal NL10 tables which are all either € or £ so I think my HM2 might be off slightly so i will just put up my graphs in BB's now.
Bankroll week 6 : $210
Bankroll week 7 : $498 (€459/£337.62)

Total graph on New site :

Also a funny hand here as i was trying to sit out and accidentally sat back in - payed off though :f_tongue:
Villain is a 73/40 Whale and i already had a note that he raises big preflop with junk.

Today i set up my two 24" monitors and my grinding station is almost there.
Just waiting on a wireless mouse, keyboard and headphones and then i can get the laptop off the desk and it will be looking sweet :f_cool:

Here it is - Imagine it with a small wireless keyboard and mouse instead of the laptop under the middle though haha :

Obviously the new set-up is paying off - Today's session :

Hey :)
Yeah, trying to catch up with you! Haha.

At first I thought it was full of regs but I'm finding a lot of weak players and quite a few full stacking fish who tilt. I'm also warming to the software but it will never be as good as stars. The rakeback really helps also.

Yeah it is! A 2002 GSXR 750 :) my dream bike from being a kid. Many thanks!

How are you getting on? Other than running way under EV?

I was quite proud of this yesterday as there is a 21/17 reg on the BB and the whole table was targeting the UTG as he is a 70/7 whale over 130 hands. _cool:

I raise big to get value from the fish as they were limp calling anything and i think the reg spotted this. When the fish calls i'm sure my AhQh is good and it looks like a profitable shoving spot :profit:

The reason i am proud is that i would have never realised this 3 months ago :f_thumbsup:

Nice setup mate :f_thumbsup:. I've also got 27" monitor recently so grinding start to look very easy :f_biggrin:.

I'm glad to see that you progress very well, just keep them crushed.

And Suzuki is just awesome :f_drink:

Thanks SRNA - Your not doing too bad yourself
Yeah the bigger monitors make the HUD so much easier to read and it helps that i can have as many tables open as i like now :pcuser:

Play has been rather rough this week with loads of ups and downs but i am definitely playing better and reviewing my hands after every session.
But thankfully a €10 SNG came to the rescue with a €60 win, along with rakeback and my FDP.
To be honest its good to have a small safety net while i am still learning! :f_ugly:

Midweek update :
Hands : 5,862
Winnings : +€15.12
Bonus : +€30
Rakeback : +€19
€10 SNG win :+ €60
Bankroll now : €560

Total challenge : ($614/$4000)

Hey Guys, _biggrin:

The last week has been all over the place and I'm a little frustrated at myself as i have not studied much because i am not gold member due to my new account not being tracked properly so i may have to buy Gold status at some point again as all the good videos are on here. I am also wanting to get some coaching from W34z3l at some point so hopefully he gets back to me soon.

I am so happy now that i've got a proper grinding station going on as it makes me feel like i have to take it seriously and motivates me to play :

As for today, it didn't go so well _cry: :

Although Betfair did reward my bad luck _thumbsup: :

Spoiler

I also decided to take a NL20 shot when i was a little tilted from playing at NL10 which didn't go so well _ugly: :

Overall NL10 graph :

So far all i am all over the place and have so many leaks in my game. I'm really not sure where to start but i think it will really benefit me to get some coaching as i want to be at least an NL20 reg by the summer.
I will be doing a full database analysis tomorrow as i need to find some of these leaks and work out how to sort them before it costs me dearly and then i can start making some real :profit:

So far January :
Hands : 10,480
Profit : -€99.74
Tournament winnings : €90
SNG winnings : €60
Rakeback : €44
FDB : €50
Bankroll : €546.44

One day i am going to win all the monies!!!! :milord:
