This is the right way :f_thumbsup:
And tbh u'd probably lose more in WR in 100k hands by mindlessly 6tabling snap then those extra $37.5 u would get being gold status.

I have just seen the gemstone promotion is on betfair starting in January so I am now considering switching to them as it is one of the few poker sites I have not signed up to and I should be able to get poker strategy points, rakeback, gemstones and a first deposit bonus of 200% which would be very good.

Anyone use betfair?

MINI update

So I have been mixing it up a bit playing snap poker on NL5 and NL10 and I have lost a few BIs there so I am going to drop NL10 until I reach $350 again and take another shot.

I've done all my Xmas shopping and its my last day of work tomorrow for 2 glorious whole weeks so hopefully I will have a nice week at my parents then a bash at being a poker pro for a week as I plan on doing some serious grinding my second week off when I get back to my flat :)

This December
- reach $500 bankroll
- hit gold status
- relax at home
- study as much as I can before gold on PS runs out on 23rd December.

I will post some graphs and stats and some hands tomorrow night when I finish work so you graph lovers have something to look at ;)

Thanks srna10 :f_thumbsup:

Hi guy's, Hope everyone is getting on well but that's me finished for 2 weeks holiday for the first time in 5 years so feeling very very happy about that

Here's a quick update as I don't think i will be able to play that much until the 28th December as I am going to see family and a break from poker will hopefully motivate me to study and be hungry for it when i get back.

I don't think this month is going to go to plan at all or it could possibly just be this week. A lot of stuff going on at work and not studying at all this week have led me to a very shitty week. I don't know if trying to play some NL10 has made my game suffer overall as i am having to think a lot more, unlike at NL6 where you can just play well like 80% of the time.

This week:

Overall :

I am very dissapointed with this week as i had such a great week before but that's poker i guess. :why: I really need to improve on my game every single week for me to actually climb any stakes so i will be trying again to study more and work on my game so hopefully this small break will rejuvenate me.

On a different matter, I have staked someone a small percentage for tournaments on Sunday 27th December (costing $24) so i have taken this from my bankroll as if i make any money on it then it could be a small bankroll booster. This is the first time i've done this so fingers crossed for the guy :gl:

This weeks sums :
Hands : 8256
Winnings : -$78
Staking : -$24
Bankroll : $260.37

Good luck to everyone and i hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and New year and i'll be back for some green figures after the 28th! :f_thumbsup:

So i'm back from my time away and had a really good time seeing family and friends

The little poker i have been playing was pretty bad but hey-ho it's Christmas and i have more time to learn this week :)

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is looking forward to new year!

A little update on my results are below + a graph :
Week 5+6+Christmas :
Week 4 BR : $362.87
Cash hands : 4,300
Winnings : -$128.48
Staking : $-24
New Bankroll : $210.39
Notes to self : DO NOT PLAY AT CHRISTMAS

I have treated myself to a new set-up for the new year which will have 2 x 24" monitors, a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse so i can get rid of having my desk all messed up and I will upload a pic once it is all set up.

Also in other news I have decided i will probably switch my Bankroll over to Betfair as the Gemstone promotion is very good and even the standard rakeback is much better than 888. (35% @ betfair / 14% if i hit gold on 888). I think this adds value as i will be grinding a lot of hands and trying to improve so while i'm not crushing my opposition just yet i might as make a little losses as possible. It will also mean i will be tracked on Pokerstrategy and therefor hopefully not have to pay for Gold status.

Anyway, Happy new year everyone when it comes ! :f_drink:

Happy new year guys/girls! :f_drink:

I need a bit of advice from someone here as i have a bit of a conundrum coming up as of the new year and where i want to go poker wise.

I have been paying NL6 / NL10 / NL30 on 888 and have had very good runs on NL6 and NL30 but a very bad run at NL10 both speed and normal tables and i don't know what to do. Here are my results below :

My overall graph in BBs look like this :

As of right now my bankroll stands at : $379.83
I have $15 rakeback to cash in also and have $24 invested in a staking deal.

Basically my problem is, do i stay on 888 and continue playing NL30 while under rolled or do i switch to Betfair where i can get a 200% deposit bonus/ Earn strategy points and possibly some gemstones?
I plan on playing long term to try and reach NL100 so maybe the Betfair idea should swing it for me.

Also can anyone see any obvious leaks in my game as i have been trying to spot specific areas and i'm unsure where to look?

Betfair is a great place to grind. But why not use an affiliate with a good RB deal? Or maybe the gemstones are good enough. You should move down. A good mindset is half the work. Set a number that you are comfortable with, and go from there.

Hey man, my blog has changed locations to the one below this comment which is a bit more organised :)

I am one of the silly people that signed up to everything under the sun before I knew about poker strategy.com and I can't get any good RB deals. I'm not even getting the gemstones because their was a problem with the affiliate :( but I did get an €800 (200%) FDB for moving to betfair + their RB is 35% on top of that so it is giving me a very good deal at the moment. I do t think I'll clear the full thing writhing 45 days but I've still got 30 days to go and I'm playing NL20.
