I decided to flat call preflop to mix up my play. I don't do this very often. The is basically the worst I could have hopped for and he bets into me. I think that he'd bet AK/AQ (diamonds) pocket pairs (77-KK) and maybe some other suited connectors that are now either 2 pairs/pair+draw/monster draw. Based on this is it okay for me to shove because the pots already pretty big and I'm ahead of so much. Folding just seems so weak...he's only put out a cbet so far.

Well, if you just call preflop you have to go broke on thos flop imo. He can have several draws, pairs and some overpairs. But it's really one of the worst possible flops.

Anyway: I 4bet small vs this guy preflop, because he seems rather nitty. I just hope he has a hand.

With 3-bet 4% you can 4-bet and get it all-in. He would shove JJ+/AK and AK is a lot of his range if he would like to get it all-in pf.
Problem is when he misses then he would c-bet/fold or just c/f on boards that don´t like him.
