BTN: $5.33
Hero (SB): $38.47
BB: $3.33
UTG: $7.67
UTG+1: $2.99
UTG+2: $2.29
MP1: $2.86
MP2: $1.52
CO: $5.13

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is SB with Q  A
UTG raises to $0.12, UTG+1 calls $0.12, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.12, CO calls $0.12, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1.10, 4 folds, CO raises to $5.13 all in, Hero calls $4.03

Flop: ($10.67) K :club: K  8 :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: ($10.67) 7  (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($10.67) 4 :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

This is actually very similar to another hand I posted. This time I did squeeze, and the CO 4bet shoves.

I think I should probably fold here, but it just makes no sense that he would call the initial raise, then shove. If he had a premium hand, he's more likely to 3bet himself.

It felt to my like he just wanted to play this hand and he got upset that someone was 3betting. I think the only hand he might have here that has me crushed is AK.

At this level, what do you think players are taking this line with?

Seems like a call to me. He will show up with low/medium PPs mostly and AQs plays fine against that. Yes, sometimes he might show up with AK that he decided not to squeeze for some reason but this will be compensated by the times he turns out to be a fish and shows you some Ax/KQ/random stuff. I don't play fullring though so wait to see other opinions too.

I think we should fold. Villain can do this with TT+ ,AQ.
But even vs 77+ ,AQ we have just 44%.
We cannot exclude the high pairs as players on this limit love to call/push with them.

77+, AQ+ looks kind of realistic. I'm not quite sure if it is better to fold or call but neither of those are bad imo. There is already money in the pot so do we need more than 44% to call?

If we have 44% equity, this is a call. The pot odds here is about 37,76%.

I am not sure villain will do this with 99-77.
At least not often.

Villain might be doing an old school perfectly viable play (though I doubt it=) ), namely "deep limping or overlimping with AA". If the blinds are squeeze happy, then it might be quite profitable. If they do not squeeze, the plan would be to play the rest as if holding a small pair (because too many are in).

Personally, I think once he shoves, it's an easy lay down. AQ, even if it's suited, is not the type of hand you want to risk your whole stack.

How does our equity change if we have AK? I'm at work and don't have Equilab on this laptop.

With AK we get 48,6%.

Above 40 equity we can call call almost anything based on pot odds. Not much difference from 44 to 48 about the line we ll choose based on that info.

At NL5 I think we ll have a hard time trying to find these squeeze happy guys. About limping and playing like a common pair I think its kind of a poor line to take w aces, imo. Gives too much chance to any playable hand that calls pre realize equity against us.

I think villain did a great job because initial UTG raise was small and to be able to play for whole stack he need big 3B PF but this will rise the alarms so he was hopping that somebody else will do that for him. Even Hero Pf 3B is not standard it is way to big 0.7 will do the same job as his 1.1. When you have so much callers sometime is better just to call because chances that somebody is trapping are huge.

Afulibador we as a TAGs are also exploitable we like to isolate limpers squeeze and so on...and I think somebody observant can easy see that our hero likes to squeeze and play pairs TT+ or AK like that.

I still think that a regular TAG is not that squeeze happy at those limits. And, just like happened yesterday against me w a similar hand, villain here could 4bet shove just cause got upset when having a decent hand and didnt wanted to fold it vs a raise, like 99-JJ (in my hand villain had nines when he 4bet shoved over my squeeze).

What kind of player was your villain? What stats does he have?
