im not saying this is by any means right and correct me if im wrong anyone please, but i would bet the turn, i just believe you will find out a lot more information with a bet here, he may fold and you take it down, he may raise which does make it hard for you but the pot isnt huge, and if he calls your in position to play the river, either checking behind or folding to a push, im not sure about any sort of value bet cause if he pushes you will have a hard time calling.

again these are just my thoughts. besides that i dont think there is anything wrong with your line i just put forward a different line.

Thank you.

Pot control was in my mind. But in general there was a lot of chances that after the turn i am still ahead.

But if we protect our hand on flop agains another (flush in that case) what is then best to do if we get a card on turn we dont want?

if you want to protect your hand on the flop, bet enough to not be giving any sort of draw the correct odds to call, i personally like 3/4-full pot size. which does go against the pot control but at least my take (perhaps not correct) on pot control is for more marginal hands such as Q10 or something in this situation where you have a made hand but its strength is questionable.

if the turn is a card you dont want to see, i think you should take your time and review any reads you have on the player and go through the hand in your head again and see if his play makes sense. perhaps this is where to start going for pot control because you cant protect against any draws if you believe that his possible draw has been made. if the turn card was in this instance K of diamonds i think im cutting my losses and just folding to any action.

and again im not saying this is the correct play this is just my take :)

Do u think my raise on flop was to little or it was OK?

Thanks for your nice answers.

yeah maybe a tad too small, id go for maybe $1.80-$2, you have to really tell the flush draws that they are not getting there cheap.

and im glad i can help :)

hi
pot control is fine here but usualy i think is better to shoot a 3$ bet and fold if he jams because he isnt doing it with worse usualy and you take the maximum value when still ahead
