We're opening AK from CO and I'm opening to a std 2,5x. Villain 3-bets. We have too small of a samplesize to say anything about his 3-bet range. The population read is that we can't 4-bet/call AK, and I certainly don't want to 4-bet/fold. So we're not 4-betting. Folding seems pretty bad too so I'm flatting IP.

Not sure if calling the flop is okay. On the turn we should definitely bet, am I right? I have no idea why I checked back. The most relevant question is which button are we pressing on the river?

Sometimes it is fine to call turn behind and induce villain to bluff river but since the board is drawy I think you should bet yourself. Villain checks turn and river doesn't change much -> you can call. No need to raise imo because villain doesn't have many worse hands that he will call with.

Wait, wait, wait. How come you cannotstack with AK from COvsBB???
I am betting this turn. There is abunch of draws and weaker hands that can call and I like to charge them.
As played I am calling on river.

People in NL2 don't generally care about position. They stack off preflop with basically QQ+ range, unless we're talking about the fishes who stack off with anything.

Edit: not even sure about QQ.

You will find many players that will have QQ+, AK, they will have bluffs too.

Preflop he's not full stack so we can 4bet/stack off but I don't hate calling against the bigger size either.
Flop call should be fine in position with nut overcards, BDFD and blockers to AA/KK.
Turn is clear bet, sometimes we get x/shoved with AA but we still have a lot of value in the bet.
River I would just call, folding is out of the question for me after we check back turn and shove is overplay.

Inceptioner, even at NL2, players tend to get a feel that who is in late position usually has less often a big hand and give us less credit when playing from there. Besides that, the range I told u is not loose at all, and AK is surely in.
