NL10 Zoom AA - "We don't make hero calls"

Here I'd definitely resort to game theory and find an easy fold. It is still 100bb+ to go, and you'd really need to provide some additional very strong evidence for me to think about calling.

It's a pity I don't have a thousand hands on the villain. It would be fun to know

The comforting thought is that you'll have enough sets (and even two pair if you are aggressive enough preflop) in your range to automatically get compensated. Notes are much more important than any amount of stats. Look at showdowns with this dude involved for free reads, but don't pay 100bb+ for the info.

Agree with the fold here. We are deep and do not want yo play for stacks.

Playing deep I think it is ok to fold here.

To me this shove looks a lot more like K♦:Q♦:,8♦:9♦: than a set. But since you block A♦:K♦: and A♦:Q♦: and A♦:J♦: its really hard to call without reads.

If I was your villain I'm for sure shoving 8♦:9♦: and A♦:K♦: otf.

Shoving a set on flop seems really weird play. But without reads I'll fold.

I agree, not holding the Ad would help, but maybe not enough to make this a call yet.

How is he gonna have enough sets in this spot. In Fullring game it's a 3bet preflop with 55,77 and TT in this spot MP+1 vs UTG+1??

folding is never bad but i would snap call and see AT, JJ,QQ,KK,some random FD more often than TT.. just count the combos and see how ahead are you with AA

if he does show up with 55, 77 then he deserves the pot because fish have to win too

I did tank most of my timebank considering exactly that Bonecore. I came down on the side of minimizing variance.

I still feel like this would be an OK call. Not to say it was a bad fold either.
