Your thought process looks quite good to me. Villain has 99,JJ,AJ,A9 easily in his range, even though you block Ax hands. He can still decide to raise and doublebarrel FDs but his turn bet size looks scary. You can call one street but I would consider folding turn too. The other hand you posted is a little bit different. There villain just likes to call, in your first hand villain seems to be tight and he shows aggression otf.

Yes, we will face 2p+ hands so folding turn is not a mistake. FDsor P+Dr have equity too.
In your second hand the villain is different?

I think this flop calls for a check. Helps to keep the pot small, protection isn't really an issue since he will fire all his draws so the street gets bet anyway, and he will most likely bet AQ/AT as well. We get some range protection too.

This kind of line, imo, is more about made hands protecting against draws.
When he bets turn big, fold is the best option.

Now just to add to the discussion, this is why its so hard to make this kind of fold on NL2, take a look at this hand, a lot of times they are happy to go all-in holding A no kicker when a A is on the board, btw this guy snap called all my bets, like, instantly

Insta calls almost always means hands that villain dont want to fold, but are not tricky. U did well barreling and putting him all in.
If he had a hand better than top pair, he would stop at least for a second and think "should I raise here?"

Fish will also stop to think if he should bluff here, so you can not draw that conclusion imo. Instacalls could also mean that he has air and decided to bluff shove next street.
