Hi,could somebody please explain to me when does a pot get split and even if your kicker is better than theirs ?

Hi Mikeyza,
well that's pretty easy:
let's say we've got A9 and our opponent has A3.
and the board is AKQT2.
In this situation we would split because we have to use 5 cards for our hand.
So in this case our hand is AAKQT
And our opponent has the same hand: AAKQT
since this is the best hand both of us can "build" out of the community cards and our own.
