Bet the turn. He has a decent stack size, could easily have hands like Q,x suited, 5,6 suited. If He calls turn, then you can check fold the river depending on bet.

Why? The A is THE definition of a scarecard. It makes sense to potcontrol and go for a delayed valuebet on the river. When he bets here, his range should not contain many worse hands than KK and I think the fold is a good play vs. a reggy range of sets, AQ and sth like A2s-A5s... unless I've got the read that this guy is floating a lot. But even then he can have the Ace a significant proportion of the time

I had the feeling that he could be floating on the flop, which made me unsure what line I should take on the turn and river. On the other hand, I didn't had any crazy reads on him and he rarely went to showdown. I check turn to value the river if he checks back and river is a brick. At first his small turn bet made me think he was trying to get fancy and steal, but looking back at it I like the fold too - I dont expect bluffs like this one very often and I see a lot more hands in his range (as MisterSNS mentioned) that we are behind than we are beating.

Instand fold.
I completely agree with MisterSns. I would fold KK.
But, only you know how this player played previous hands, if he blufed a lot, maybe call is good option. Just from this one hand, fold!

Beware that your own stack size is a lot smaller of the villain in the hand and that you need to bet pretty small on turn if you don’t want to get committed here with the 28k stack left.

Sounds good to me as well, but his sizing looks a little bit weak in my opinion.
Could be a tell, but without reads it’s difficult to continue on a Ace high board.

I would c/c on turn with that size bet. Let think with what Ax hands will he continue on flop? Does he call with AJ, AT, AK? I doubt. It is also board that give only BDFD if he has suited Ax hand. I think that more often he has here some pair, KQ, QJ, QT. Hands that beat you are 22, QQ, 55, AQ. And those hands have 18 combos. You beat KQ, QJs, QTs, JJ, TT, 99, 88, 77, 66, and those hands have 48 combos. If his only hands that you beat are 99-JJ and KQs, he have 20 combos that you beat. And you need only 18% equity to be break even. We can argue that he is setting up for river shove, but I will definitely call turn, especially if he sees you doing this often (bet flop, c/f turn). A is perfect card for him to bluff if you are willing to fold KK here.

But in general I would go for 1/3 bet on flop and turn. As played I am calling turn and c/f if opponent shove river. Another tiny bet I wouuld probably call.
