Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J♦, J♠
UTG2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, MP2 calls $0.50, 4 folds, BB raises to $1.99 (All-In), Hero folds, MP2 calls $1.49.

Flop: ($4.53) 3♦, 2♣, 8♥
Turn: ($4.53) 4♥
River: ($4.53) T♣ (1 players)

Final Pot: $4.53

The cold call was suspicious so I folded since I could be behind to donk and oop postflop to cold caller.

Shortstack is shoving something like JJ+, AK here so I fold my jacks if I don't have a read on him that he's shoving with worse or is generally a fish. And a cold caller adds another argument to a fold, so it's a nh imo.

You could also think of shoving to isolate agains the shortie. JJ isn't usualy good against shorties shoving. But with the cold caller's money, your pot equity is now good.

MP2 is probably behind you. With QQ+ he'd have 3bet you.

Folding is not wrong though. I personally like to shove

hi
i would shove here to get it in against the shorty . the other guys range is far behind us
if it is full ring and he is a decent shortstacked i guess you can consider folding too
