V. is a reg, just got 75 hands on him. His WTSD is 15, and his flop cbet percentage is 75. No further reads.

As played I call the 78s pre and bet the turn as he checks to me. I thought ingame it might be a bit spewy to bluff turn and river vs everything lower than Ax. So I decided to go for a larger sizing OTT expecting him to fold a ton. But I guess I gotta bet the river too? As we have AJ/ATs and occasional AQ in our turn-range we gotta need some bluffs OTR and 78s seems legit for that.

preflop i prefer to 3bet if non of blinds are fishy / blinds regs squeezing a lot but cc is ok...

for me when u bet turn u have to bet river ... there are ton of better hands that will shutdown with this action .. almost all the overpairs, high cards KxQx, JxTx type of hands without diamond double barreling...
So the ev of bluffing is better than the non sd ev we have.

Also one more reason to bet river too is that he cbets a ton on flop but it's 70something hand sample so nevermind

Preflop and flop ok. He probably doesn't have many Ax in his range since he checked turn or then his AX is pretty low. He can call your turn stab with draws and pairs to defend vs your floats? I think when you bet turn you have to bet river here too. And that is why I would bet turn a bit smaller :) Villain's WTSD is low and that supports river bet too.

Guys, villain can xc Ax on turn. We cannot rule out Ax...
Also, if we bet the turn, we should bet the river too.

I think that this hand is one of the best to turn into a bluff here. Your value range has Ax/sets/2pair and as a bluff 78/some diamond combos.

By turning these hands into a bluff and betting them also on the river villain has to call you down with his 9x etc. so then you get value with your value hands.

Also if villains wtsd is really low(be aware of samplesize) it should be always a great spot to bluff otr.

Our bluff story only makes sense for aces up. Id expect we 3b AJs AQo. I cant see us putting enough pressure in to make even a middling ace fold here without a serious overbet. Some big PP will call down smaller bluffs as well.

I think you are valuetowning yourself against the villains range by betting OTT. Just take the free card. Turn hits the villains uncapped CO open range better than your calling to draw BU range.

Normally I like to see the free card. I do not like turning hands with equity into a bluff.
And as villain can play his Ax this way,I like the x.
