Let's say that I asked him the following questions to avoid confusion:
What can we say about villain? He's a nit? He lost quite some value OTT and OTR by not betting so much? Or shall I just except that I can't win every pot?

I shove less without the nuts on NL2 for a simple reason. People there suck at folding

Sure! If you know your spots well and have solid reads on your opponents. I would be careful though.
I would play PF and Flop the same -- you crush his range on the Flop so no point to raising on this safe board.
Turn -- this is normally a good card for you -- it gives Villain a card to bluff at or better still he hits his Ace or picks up a draw/combo.
Some players will check Turn for pot control/to induce with TP in blind-vs-blind so when he bets it does narrow his range to draws and TPgK at least.
Raise the Turn. You lose too much value by not raising his A-type hands and draws and if he has no Ace or is on air you get no more money on the River.
When villain bets the River I am thinking I am behind quite often. The flush card has landed, the board is paired with an Ace and he fires again. Unless I have a specific read villain is a bluffing spewtard I have to at least seriously consider folding -- although I probably hate myself for doing so and eventually call (I fold if playing well or over-tight) -- then throw my toys out of the pram 
At 2NL the quality of your folds determines the degree of you WR much more than you might think.
Edit: Yes agree raising flop can look bluffy too and likely to get a call from certain opponents. But Hero has not much to go on -- but either is ok IMO. If you raise and he folds you will feel you should have just called...as you called and he sucked out you feel stupid...

So learn your spots and profile your opponents! Players that call too much are some of the easiest to spot. 
There is a TON of value in stacking players who cannot fold -- don't give yourself reasons to play scared.
you have the best J outside of FH, so you beat QJ, TJ, whatever random garbage J he opens from SB and why not add in some AK. i hate the raise turn line, but it's alright, specially if they don't actually fold Ax ever ♦

It sucks to flop really good and then get coolered -- but its a fact of poker. Blue-cheese unoriginal but nonetheless either accept this as fact and relax -- or tilt and blow several stacks in a keyboard smashing attempt to get even -- or become so disconnected with your emotions in attempting Jedi-level-tilt-control-by-denial you wreck the rest of your life. Han Solo is dead -- he cannot save you! Choose.
