I would bet bigger on turn. Maybe we have to fold here...

I forgot to mention that the bet sizes were 1/2. From some reason, my HM2 deducts the rake from sizes. Not sure if this could be changed.

If you fold Q9 here you are folding your whole range but AQ.. So Q9 is your best bluffcatcher here?

Tough spot indeed. I think calling is ok. We block some AQ and villain could shove with some draws, sets 2pair? Villain might raise some of those already OTF but I think his range is still wider than just AQ.

I called. Folding with the 2nd nuts seemed too weak at the time and I assumed that he could have some other hands besides AQ, like flushdraws, sets, two pairs... Although most of them would raise the flop. Anyway, he showed AQ.

Sets, apart from TT, are raising on flop. Not all FDs are pushing the turn... AsQs maybe...

This hand is ideal for a GTO-like treatment versus anyone decent.

Suppose he is bluffing. Then he is offering himself approximately 1:2 in odds, and needs to win 2/3 of the times (rounded numbers). Add to this that people rarely check-raise bluff (they do it probably less than they should do, and this is less than little), I'd consider my entire bluff-catching range to be the second nuts. This means that that range needs to be split into two parts. Call with some 6 combos and fold the other 10 combos.

This scenario (with split specific holdings) isn't that uncommon.
