I dont push preflop because both villains are comitted to a call.
Like it as played, top pair is easy shove on this flop 
I push preflop here too. We have 1000 chips left, and the BB is 1200. Both players calling preflop is better for us, as after we flop top pair, one of them folds. We are busted this hand no matter what, so get it in preflop, IMO.
Yea your arguments do make sence, although I prefer a showdown against as little opponents possible, and you should have more FE on (random flop).
I'm still not pushing every flop though. You have verry little FE anyway, I prefer saving my chips and pushing every SB next hand if I mis the flop completely.

That's how I play it, too.
I don`t push preflop... with an above average hand I push preflop cos I`ll take my chances... but with a weaker hand I`ll push the flop, cos 1x player folding gives me a better chance when I doubt they`ll fold preflop... even if I miss the flop completely you`re still committed and so I commit before I see my cards that all my chips are going in...
