i like to call the river!
there are many hands which try to bluff u out because u checked behind on the turn

I'd bet the turn, most people who raise pre-flop will put you on an ace and another bet on the turn would indicate that you made a continuation bet on the flop and then got lucky on the turn. Doesn't always work but by checking the ace you showed some weakness and fear to the overcard.

thats what u want

u want to induce some bluffs on the river because u seems to be very weak after checking behind
u dont get any value from weaker hands if u represent the A on the turn

I completely agree with hijaka.

You see this line all the time on the $11s...

Villain calls preflop
Calls c-bet
Sees you check an ace/any turn card and donks the river...

Against unknown I call the river everytime... if you're beaten, you're beaten, but a lot of worse hands will donk into you...

If you bet the turn only Aces, sets and idiots will call... draws are another danger here, but if a safe card hits the river keep the pot small and call his bet...

Agree with nickparkes, also because I find a lot of players "floating" (LOL) with Ax hands on flop.

If the flop was less dry (drawy, ..) I would definatly bet again on turn though.
