4bet/call -> shove
Although you only have 44 HH on the BTN its fine to assume he's 3 betting quite diverse from BTN position. You're either going to win the pot with your 4bet or you're going it all in pre - which is fine -> you block some KKs and AAs combos and you're almost a flip against all pairs below that.
Its rare and highly awkward if he just calls your 4bet...

I would have gone indeed :f_biggrin: the flop wasn't too sweet for me but I called this hand so I think in the long-term this was a loss-making decision.

There is little "room" for 4-betting and getting away from the hand. A shove is not wrong and will realize 100% of the equity against all pairs that might be calling a regular 4-bet.
