So many things happened today but least from which are poker grinding!
I will list out all the things as well as how I spent my day:
- Helped elpsycho today
- Payed my internet bill and walked around city for half hour
- Talked to a lot of my friends here and abroad
- Celebrated the fact that I am back in Serbia for exactly 2 months
- Discovered way to do voice to text finally
- Meet a new Asian girl
- Did research on Maria Ho ♦
- Grinded less then 1 hour
So lets talk as things happened.
Woke up, talked to elpsycho for about half hour and helped him with hand review between half and one hour. Then I worked out how to do voice to text in order to speed up my hand reviewing and even do blog updates with such function - still need to study this to perfect it. After that realized that it was 2 months since I have arrived back home from Boston USA. Lots of things going through my mind, most are related how great full I am to be doing things that I love making great money doing them and being on great way to help my dad out and myself. As those thoughts were going through my mind I decided to take it easy today! So I went to pay my internet bill and walked from city center back to where I live. Stopped by in super market, bought some strawberries and ice cream , treated myself with that home!
It was then late afternoon time already and I read articles about Maria Ho and watched her videos on YouTube. Quite inspiring stuff, she really left a strong impression on me. Friend of mine told me that he saw her in Malta for Battle of Malta 2 years ago. I will definitely look into going there this year especially if she will be there, grab a chance and make it happen to meet her in person. Think that would be very cool and refreshing, meeting a girl that actually knows what she wants and how to have fun in her life for a change!
After Maria Ho range construction studying, talked to my friends on Skype, Viber and WhatsApp. Very fun times, lots of laughs, loved it. By this point, it was very late afternoon, after 9pm, so then I talked to elpsycho and we ended up doing very productive poker work for close to 3 hours. I watched him 3 table 7s, we talked a lot of spots (which seem very hectic as he was grinding) and then we covered some vital game plan after he finished 1 hour or so of grinding. We finished it strong with him watching me play 16 games 15s where I made 6 buy ins.
I then talked and meet Asian girl from South Korea. Had a really cool talk with her, look forward talking to her more as she seems very fun.
Finally, I decided to use 90$ earned from 15s today and set 3 buy ins stop loss for 30s. Turned 3 tables on, all of them were 2x, lost 2 and won last one. Now had 2 buy ins for stop loss, so I 2 tabled 30s and in 6 games total I made 150$ or 5 buy ins thanks to winning 4x.
Very long day full with life activities of a sort. Happy that I can look back at it and not feel any regret for not grinding 5 hours today. This is just awesome feeling, knowing that I am and will continue making money with Spins. There is no need to rush anything, this is not a sprint - it is a marathon. By the end of the year is plenty of time to save money for mortgage and rebuild bankroll. With 30k Spins on 15s I can get to more then enough money for this year. I look forward more to improve and move to 30s where 5k+ months are reality with my grind habits. For time being I will grind 15s and continue to improve my game, become better poker player and increase my winnings by the end of the year. On the other hand, I have so many great things going on in my life now and I am very happy to be able to plan and do all these great activities. One of them is planing Asia trip for 2017 with one of my friends and most likely elpsycho joining us also. That would be so much fun, 3 poker players in Thailand or somewhere else in Asia for 2 months!
I leave you all to think about that one and make up stories in your mind as I did today ![]()
For the end of the update, graph for the day with update for games and hours happening tomorrow!

2016 Challenge - Saving 12k$
May
Day 14
1139/4000 games
37.88/125 hours
Graph for today:

Another day off from poker!
I spent most of the day doing things for the house, food shopping and laundry. Had a great lunch and then went to grind. Stars was super laggy and for some reason it opened me 8 instead of 4 tables. I could actually do things on those 8 tables which was funny
As I was grinding noticed that reaction from software in comparison to hot keys was off by 2-3 seconds. It was just very bad and somewhat tilting. Finished 20 games and went on to investigate about internet (perhaps problem was on my end). Turns out my internet was 10/3 mbits instead of 12/3 so that could have affected grinding at Stars.
After that I simply felt total lack of motivation to play with such lagy situation so I took a whole day off! Spoke to my friends, opened a new blog on 2+2 to connect with fellow spin grinders and poker players living in Asia as well as poker players looking to go to Vegas. Hope something will come out of that
Also taught 1 lesson which went really well, very happy how my student is progressing super proud of him!
Finally, I looked into my calendar and noticed that most my scheduling was for lessons and meeting family and friends (important events). Took time and talked to my friend, from tomorrow we decided to play Basketball 3 times per week every other day! I will go to buy a basketball tomorrow (20-30 euros tops) and we start tomorrow at 1pm! Very excited about that obviously, can't wait to start. Need to do sports that I feel attraction and passion towards. Cross Fit is great but it is super brutal sport. Just thinking about it makes me not want to go at this physical state and shape!!! I will consider getting back to it once I get back in shape with regular sports and my stamina increases (running, pushups, squats and such). Besides sports, I am looking into whole calendar schedule and will complete tonight full week ahead for grinding.
Here is how sample day might look when I am playing basketball and not teaching guitar or music:
11-12 Wake up, mourning routine and breakfast
12-1pm Studying
1-2pm Basketball
2-3pm Coffee time with my friend, if not then shower + snack/lunch
3-4pm Grind 1st session
4-4:15pm Rest and regenerate
4:15-5:15pm Grind 2nd session
5:15-6pm Lunch and rest
6-7pm Grind 3rd session
7-8pm Dinner and regenerate
8-9pm Grind 4th session
9-10pm Snack
10-3am Hand review and helping elspycho, blog update, responding to messages, tv shows and movies, getting ready for bed
So looking at this schedule it is very doable as it has plenty of spots to relax and regenerate. Key things are 1 hour of studying, 4 hours grinding and 1 hour of sport. In my opinion this long term would and will produce amazing results for both body mind and results on the tables.
There are days where I am teaching minimum 3 hours like on Tuesday and Wednesday and even Sunday so on those days I will either have to struggle to fit that in with schedule above or do some activity less off (less grinding on those days comes to my mind 1st!).
Look forward testing this time management whole next week, tracking what I did or did not do, what prevented me from completing any of the activities I set and such things. It should long term be very powerful since it will be steady system that over time becomes a habit (exact vs flexible grind hours - that is causing me now most to miss my volume!!!).
Finally in the end of the month I will also include number of hours I played for satelites for WSOP and Talin. Right now I would say that I spent minimum 5 hours on that from top of my head but could very well be more then that.
Tomorrow 1st day for basketball habit, very excited and look forward to it!
Next habits to implement are healthy eating with constant meals (4-5 meals per day) and creating + sticking to time management daily for maximum productivity!
Enjoy remaining of your week on and off the tables!
Update regarding past week
There is so many things that happened within past week and I will try to address them all in this update.
Lets start with grinding!
There was very little to none of it. It is combination of things that resulted in me taking several steps back and evaluating my priorities and time management. I will post graph for the month by the end of the update but ideally 3k games on 15s would be phenomenal (about 4.5 hours per day grinding by the end of month) but I am not sure if that is realistic goal right now. I think 2k games will be better for sure to keep this month somewhat OKish with volume.
I will now address other things that happened and why I am not grinding as much as I planed initially.
Family situation. Things are looking better financially but still need to push to get it going. Some unplanned things happened and now I need to adapt to them soon.
Connected via 2+2 with 2 fellow Spin players. One plays 15s the other one had 80 cEV on 7s over 8k sample and is now playing 15s. Had 2 sessions with one of them and they were OK. Nothing super productive (1st one several hands analyzed, 2nd one live sweating) but we talked about making a plan to stick to it. I hope best comes from it but honestly it is hard to say. We play very different style and both have good win rates. Our game plan is different in a lot of spots and it seems to me that we will run into a lot of troubling spots in HU study. Curious how it will all turn out but already saw difference in thinking processes. Overall idea of teaming up with winning player is to work strong together, increase win rate, crush and keep moving up. Spins are beatable now but who knows what future brings for them in a year or two. That is why I want to maximize my win rate on them by the end of this year as I save money to help my dad. In January I can then decide whether or not to pursue it further or do other things.
Working with elpsycho
I helped my great friend and will continue helping him because he is awesome person who deserves to make it. I am hoping that he finds the way to move to Serbia, stay here with me and do poker every day (studying, sweat sessions, reviewing hands etc) to help him crush and make great money along the way. Reality right now is different but there is hope that it will change. If it does, that would be awesome and something I very much look forward to!
Sport - Basketball
Several days ago, talked to my friend who is also poker professional (making a living playing poker) and we arranged to start playing basketball 3 times per week. We already meet twice, next one is on Sunday. It was brutal and felt great (especially today). 1st meeting I saw how out of shape I was, loosing breath, not breathing evenly, not having proper condition. We managed to play only 1 game to 21 which I lost 21-17. Today, 2 days later, we played 2 games, 1st one to 21 , 2nd to 7 and we still had energy to play but had to leave for lunch meeting with his gf. Today unlike past Sunday, I didn't have shortage of breath that quick, I could move, play defense, jump a bit etc. 1st game today I won 21-11 which was very nice, ended the game with a 3 point shot also which is great. 2nd game lost 7-2 (variance? hehe we shall see!). Overall I am extremely happy and pleased that I found a person who finds joy and wants to play sports that I enjoy. When I was younger it was much easier to play and train sports that I love. Now at age 32, most of my friends are living different lifestyles where they are either finding excuses for not doing it saying stuff like "I would like/love to do it but..." (hint: If you really like or love to do something, you find time for it!), or they simply lost interest for sports. So having a friend that is cool with playing 1 on 1 3 times per week is really brutal. Goal is to increase and get to 3 games up to 21 and gradually add some things like running a lap for warm up and when all the games are finishing it up with a lap. Really excited about how that is going and it is definitely among my top priorities on my calendar, to do list and time management.
Working on the game
Kept working on the game and I feel it is really shoving at the tables. Less and less there are spots pre flop that I am uncertain about. Most work in the future will actually be done via HH studying where I will seek to find and fix my leaks. Definitely worked more on the game then grinded past week, probably did 10 hours in past week or more.
Time management/Priorities
This is a major one. As I wrote in some previous update, I noticed that I was not on track with grinding due to grinding not being scheduled and/or other things taking time from it. I have therefore decided to take step back, evaluate my life right now, look deep inside and rethink about my mission and vision in life. What made me happy , what makes me happy, what would make me happy? What things are good but not super important now? What kind of life balance do I want?
The more I kept asking questions this past week, the more I realized that going for 4-5-6 hour grinding per day is super counter productive for me. Yes, I have a good win rate and yes I will make money, but that doesn't make me a great player. I would feel much better about my development as a player if I grinded less, kept working, improving, fixing my leaks, proving to myself that I can keep improving, playing higher stakes, making way higher hourly (example from 32$ on 15s to 50$ on 30s etc). And, this is just one of the many things. I also noticed that leaving out the sports and waiting for some moment when it's more perfect to do them is not the way to go. I want to do sports as frequent as possible. Heck, I would go and play now at 12:49am some basketball or football game if there were people! That is how much I love playing sports and I am very happy that I asked my friend to do basketball with me. It was such an eye opener, playing again sports, feeling that dopamine rush, time traveling even when I used to train basketball for 5 years, great stuff. So time management and priority wise, sports (basketball for now, gym or crossfit later, in between doing besides basketball some running also, push ups etc) need to happen 3 times per week minimum! This alone affects current time management. Also, working on the game needs to happen as steady as possible. No more improvised, free time management flowing decisions for such important thing. I am working on scheduling times every day working on the game for 1 hour. Over time that should improve results and result in my move up to 30s with higher expected win rate. Some other things important to me that I was already finding time for. Teaching, time with family and friends. I am really happy with my time management for those things and right now I would not change a bit for it. Other things that I would like to include and add: 1) Approximately once per week spending time with some girl (hook up or not - I enjoy a lot this for obvious and not so obvious reasons) 2) Studying internet marketing and business as a next go to thing (I already make money with music and poker , both which I very much love and enjoy doing but internet marketing can lead to passive streams of income which is my long term goal!) 3) Traveling - how frequent, hard to tell, once per month would be great but not really ideal in my opinion. I can take laptop and go to Prague but whats the point if I will still have to grind there and keep making money? I am talking about things like leaving, taking time off 3-4 days per month and just relaxing playing live poker or not, going out, enjoying times with family and friends.
So time management is nowhere near complete. I am hoping and working towards having different versions of it by the end of this month. The reason why I am doing this now is because I want June to go smooth in terms of both expectations and the way I am running things. Typical example of time management for each day would be: 1) having steady sleeping pattern (time when going and when waking up), also waking up early (by 9:30am latest) 2) Doing most important priorities 1st thing in the morning (studying or sports very likely) 3) Having up to 8 hours of activities per day including studying, grinding, working with other players, playing sports. teaching and meeting friends. This means on days when I teach guitar 2 hours and play basketball 1 hour, I have 5 hours at most left for poker which with studying leaves tops 4 hours of grinding (very likely 3).
I will as I complete different time management samples talk about them more in depth. Right now I am just working on getting them all running in the system (using google calendar, notifications connected to my phone) and making somewhat steady time management that I will follow each month. Only exceptions will be when I decide to take a trip (might go to Prague in June, still undecided on that one) or go to a seaside for 7-10-14 days. Even those activities can be planed for and time management will be adjusted. Everything else should run very smoothly aka no more waking up 7:30, then 9:30 , 11 some days, going to bed at 4-5am, 3am etc. As steady as possible for as long as possible.
I find that setting habits and creating a system for them all with exact times helps me most to get it all done. Without system and time management, things start to fall apart - which is what kinda happened to me. I am happy I realized that things were getting out of hand so I took a step back, analyzed the situation and started working on it. As I said, by the end of the month, I should have complete time management with expected hours for grinding, studying, sports and all the other important areas and priorities.
As I said in this update, here is the graph for May so far that does not include 2 rooms where I played satellites for WSOP and Talin.

Realistic goal is to get 1111 more games on 15s to make it 2k games for the month. In next 14 days that makes it total 34.7 hours of grind which is less than 3 hours per day average. Anything higher then that would be great at this moment and most importantly I am looking to continue with sports, teaching, hang out with family and friends, keep working on the game and yes complete time management so that June and future months can be much more with smooth sailing.
Enjoy the remaining of week on and off the tables - next update will be sometime in May just not sure if the very end or in between as I want to focus on all the things mentioned in today's update.
Very productive day!
Studied on my own about 1 hour then worked on the game with Spin study partner for another hour. So total 2 very productive hours.
Grinded 3.7 hours and taught 2 lessons.
Overall very productive day. When it comes to grinding, 1st and 2nd sessions were great, playing great and running great. 3rd session variance hitting hard and some mistakes. 4th session lack of focus, played C game and didn't maximize variance (example lost couple of buy ins in very specific spots where in my game plan is not the plays I made = tired, lack of focus).
Anyways, here is the graph for the day:

Tomorrow will be very intense day with time management!
Waking up early (continuing with 9:30am wake up time) , teaching from 11am (poker session) , 1pm to 2pm Basketball, 3-4pm studying with Spins partner, grinding up until 6pm with lunch break, 6-7pm teaching , 7-9:30pm dinner and grinding, 9:30-10:30pm teaching and finally 10:30pm grinding until 12 or so.
Will try to also go between 3-4 hours in grinding despite all the activities lined up.
By the way, time management is going great. In my calendar I have added basketball on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Also added every day study session with Spin reg 3-4pm. That is two of the top priorities that I discussed in previous post.
Enjoy remaining of your week on and off the tables!
Another very productive day!
Woke up very early and had to sleep from 6:30 to 8 then to 9:30am.
Completed my mourning routine and then was teaching 1,5 hours.
After teaching went to basketball, spent about 15 minutes shooting and practicing on very hot weather and then when we started to play I had no condition to play! I hardly completed 1 game up to 21 (won 21-19) but took like 3-4 rests , it was just sick. Lesson learned not to play on such hot weather (1pm!!!).
After basketball, went with my friend for coffee and ate lunch!
Following lunch I had 1 hour session with my Spins study partner. This time we work on area(s) he wants to improve and it was great. Ended session with him checking out my game plan in live play. We alternate every day where each of one chooses to work on what he thinks is most +EV for his game. Very productive!
After that I grinded 1 hour and that made it 1.5 hours of grind total for the day.
I then taught 2 lessons (guitar and music) close to 3 hours which went really well. Very proud of how my students are doing!
Before final grind session that lasted about 40ish minutes, I was talking to my friend elpsycho on Skype and I set up Camtasia on my laptop to record some things for him (have it running on desktop but I grind using laptop mostly now).
And now is the end of the day , completing it with blog update.
For tomorrow, plan is following:
- In the morning go for 2 things : 1) Help elpsycho by recording video of HH review 2) Hang out with my friend for coffee
- 1pm on, spend time with family
- 4pmish study with fellow Spins reg for 1 hour!
- Grind 3-4 1 hour sessions with rests included
- Consider going out just to shoot the basketball for 15-20 minutes (to increase stamina and endurance)
For the end of this update, here is the graph for today (2.22 hours of grind today):

Cliffs:
Played some basket ball
Did some studying
Won $300 plus
Standard day at the office
Yeah Steve!
I look forward to updates in future which will contain "made 300$ via passive income today" besides other things
Quick update
Worked on the game total 4 hours today!
0.5 hour was grinding and recorded session for my students. 1 hour did HH review which I also recorded. Worked with my Spins study partner 1 hour which went great. And then final 2 hours I did very in depth study for game plan.
cEV today on lol sample was over 300 if I remember ♦.
Will hit the bed now, expect the full graph at the end of the month. For this month cEV is 70 on 1.2k sample on 15s. Feel I can improve that to 80 but it will take time to implement new adjustments and apply them properly.
Enjoy remaining of your week!
Quick update
Taught 1 session and 2 lessons + worked on the game 0.5 with fellow Spins reg and 0.5 grinding. In the coffee place played some 15s and then took a shot for 30s (5 buy ins stop loss) which didn't really pan out. Tons of recreational (aggro) players who were either on top of the range post flop or got set up pre flop. Overall feel good about 30s also but will not play them full time until BR increases by minimum 2k more! (1 month from now hopefully)
Still working on time management and prioritizing some thing. I find that several important things are not yet in and I simply need to plan it to make it all happen. Will talk about this in some future updates, now it is fairly late and will go to bed as I plan to get up 9:30am again (continue with this habit!).
Tomorrow basketball, working on the game with fellow reg, SCOOP (won 100$ ticket via 25$ spins) and some grinding. Key thing besides it all is to finish up with time management (all the life areas which will be applied to weekly and monthly calendar!).
Enjoy remaining of your weekend on and off the tables!
Quick update
Last 9k+ hands on 15s (lol sample):

Happy with my improvement and working on the game daily.
Also, today is Scoop day. I have 100$ ticket for main event which starts in 5 minutes.
Lets go!
Appreciate the support man, just busted out though! At one point had close to 80k chips, lost pre flop about 50k chips vs aggro fish who 4bs with KK into my 3bn where I had QQ. Actual bust hand is BTN vs BB where big blind hit TP2ndkicker and x/c 3 streets - standard from both him and my play was good also. He was tanking for 1 minute before he made that call on the river so my play and image was great but something made him go for it in the end hehe.
Cool, so here is graph for today without SCOOP main x 2 where I won tickets through Spins ( + have 1 more ticket that I couldn't use tonight)

Studied in the morning 1 hour, spent whole day looking for websites to shop clothes for Serbia and finalizing my time management. My Spins study partner got sick and asked to move today's session so we didn't study together today.
Scoop main, busted both tickets where opponents were on top of the range both times. Enjoyed grinding those 25$ Spins with SCOOP main. Before the end of the night, called in another 5 buy ins stop loss for 30s , 2 tabling. Several reasons for doing so. I want to reward myself for having an excellent study and improvement month. I feel absolute control on 15s and I want to keep challenging and pushing myself to become better player and understand ranges even more. 30s are certainly the way to do that as opponents are better in comparison to 15s regardless if they are fish or regs. Regs are definitely better and have less leaks but still have leaks (don't we all) but the edges are smaller of course. 2 tabling 30s tonight ended with 5 buy ins profit. Lost several buy ins to bluff catchers on 30s tonight and also the other day when I played them in coffee shop. Somehow, opponents were now on top of the range even though tendency that they showed is very aggro overall. So yeah, not worried about cEV on 30s on this low sample. Will consider in June mixing 2 limits (2 tables of each) or simply setting up stop loss for 30s like 50 buy ins or so. Haven't made that decision yet and I am not in any rush to make it. Frankly, I am feeling good about my game and playing 15s certainly will bring money in but moving higher will make me even better player and make potentially even more money.
Time management
Here is idea for all of you looking to organize your calendars, to do lists, habits and things that you want to get done.
I opened Word Pad and used bullet points to list all my priorities on monthly basis. When I finished with those I then added other things that are also important but that I would like to find more time for eventually (internet marketing, online business expansion, passive income streams etc). After I listed all those, next step is to allocate to each area specific number of hours per month. This is very hard to do right because doing too many hours without proper rests or doing very hard activities (such as studying and grinding poker, teaching music and guitar) will very soon lead to burn out. After you figure out right hours, then you go to calendar and do scheduling things.
So for you guys and girls, I will list of my priorities (some top ones) for June (without accounting trip to Prague or Malta) and hopefully you can take this concept and make it work for you.
Some of the key areas for me (list not complete):
Sports/Work outs (15 hours)
Studying (30 hours)
Grinding (100 hours)
Teaching and Coaching (40 hours)
Family (16 hours)
Sleeping (210 hours)
So now when you look at those hours above, there is certainly space to fit other things in. In fact, in my word pad document + google calendar, I am using a lot more things. Some of them require less energy to do and some are in the middle. For example, I put shopping 2 hours per month! Idea is every other week, on Sunday, at a very specific time, go to those bookmarked and new recomended ones + check out products I put in the basket already, and in those 2 hours per month buy something nice for myself as a reward each month. That activity is easy, fun and is great way to prove a point of systems and how to make them work for you.
From my priorities above, you will notice that I put tons of emphasis on getting back in shape (working out and sports 3 times per week 1 hour each and then other days just doing work outs at home or going for a run with some simplified version of crossfit!) + continuing with poker strong (30 hours of studying + 100 hours of grinding and then xy hours of coaching to be decided based on factors I have no influence over now), sleeping well and setting up steady bed times (7 hours per day), teaching guitar and music (up to 10 hours per week - extremely important, keeps my life very much in check - I don't consider myself just a poker player but someone who has other talents and skills developed very well as well).
So let me give you now time management based on my expectations tomorrow since I am not teaching any guitar and music lesson nor poker session.
Monday 23rd of May 2016

On days like tomorrow, I will be pushing grind stronger since there will be days where I will have extremely difficult time to put in 2 hours of grind due to teaching 3-4 hours and spending times with family friends and a girl or two.
You get the idea how this work. Once you set up the system, put everything down and know what you want and how to get it, next step is "just" to follow it. Most people fail here hard. They know what to do but never get to doing it. I find that I have huge willpower to do things that I want to do but I have so many things that I find of high value for me. So I run out of times in the day to do it all. That is where calendar with time management like I described comes in play.
I may or may not post in future updates screen shot (like today) of tomorrows time management sample.
If you have any questions about this sort of thing, let me know and I will see if I can be of help to you.
Enjoy your night on and off the tables - going to watch that leaked GOT episode before the bed

One of the downsides of being married to a poker celebrity is being in the shadow of her fame, being best known as her husband instead of being known as a poker pro in your own right.
Plus, in case online poker collapses soon, it makes some sense to pick a recreational female player instead of a pro (you'll be able to teach her not to bleed money anyway) who is more focused on improving her 'real job' skills but does enjoy poker enough not to hate living with a grinder
Congrats on the solid performance in Spins![]()

Well, I'm now more of a kaizen practitioner
- I try to focus on doing whatever useful jumps to my mind, in order to at least make some improvement all the time (which is better than doing nothing, of course).
Hey Tony - thanks for the congrats! I am just starting here really, there is more things to be done and improved. Certainly expect to win at 30s in very near future and then who knows for 60s+ ♦
As far as Maria or any female poker pro goes, I have no problem being in her shadow. I don't like poker exposure anyways, I would rather talk to people about other important things in life, motivate and inspire someone. Poker is topic reserved for people interested in poker. Everyone else outside of it considers it gambling anyways ![]()
For your time management approach, I used similar but found that I don't get all the things that I set out in my mind and lots of things suffer long run (tend to need way more time to complete them).
OK, so for today some good news!
I woke up as planed (been waking up for a week almost now by 9:30am. Ate breakfast and went to work out. Was having a shooting practice at basketball court and it was awesome. After that went to meet a friend and we ended up staying for almost 2 hours talking. Some very productive talking not just joking around. Hopefully in the future those will results into some cooperation outside of poker.
Got back home, used service that delivers home cooked Serbian meals, ate lunch and then did session with my study partner. 0.5 hour studying, 0.5 live sweat on 30s during which I won 6 buy ins or so while 2 tabling. decided to keep playing 30s for the rest of the day, 4+ hours total and see how I would do in them + draw some more conclusions.
So in my opinion, day went very well. I was in control for most of the time but I do admit there were some guys either having super hot run in HU (setups or hitting like crazy) or simply playing really well. Through out the day I had cEV of 90+ on 30s. Ended up with 60ish cEV which is OK but I am already certain that I can have that on 30s long term with current knowledge. Had a chance to win 10x but didn't quite work out.
Conclusions for 30s you can already guess what they are but basically people are way better post flop (especially HU), they are more aggro pre flop and there is a lot of leveling going on in my opinion. Also, it seems like there is more regs there and they tend to play better then average reg on 15s.
Here is the graph for today on 30s:

Despite loosing 7 buy ins today, I will keep playing them tomorrow also. I have enough of a BR to keep playing them for time being. If I hit 30 buy ins stop loss from this point, I will drop to 15s and continue playing them.
30s are hard but also very motivating. I will put even more work into my game to fix the leaks which I feel will improve my win rate even more long term. By the way, could have played better today, last session felt a bit rushed with decisions definitely could have played better!
I am on purpose taking this risk with current BR (ideally should play mix 15s and 30s) but I see that I can make $ on 30s as well - it is just the matter of time and hopefully some run good in the beginning to boost BR a bit ♦ (now on 150 buy ins for 30s and 300 for 15s)
As far as time management goes, I completed all my tasks for the day and that makes me feel great.

Hi Mate,
I just wondered why you post a graph of chips won rather than $$ won. When I quickly scan you graph and look for the green line I think he has had a good day and then when I look again.. opps lost $210. I know you have you reasons ands suspect it shows more accurately how well you have been playing ?
Regards
Steve
Hi Steve,
Excellent question there. Spins are format where winner takes all so unlike SNGs where you use ICM here you have none. It is very similar with CG where pot odds determine your ranges for pre flop all ins and your flop/turn/river decisions are clearer in comparison to SNGs where you have to account ICM factor.
I include in my graph cEV because that is the most important factor to check how you are going. I also use evbb/100 (CG thing applied to Spins) which is also accurate when showing your skill. Believe this month my evbb/100 is overall 10. Among best players have evbb/100 12 so I am sure I can get there - see there is more work to be done and that keeps me engaged to become best I can.
Hope that helps!
