I do not feel that way at poker, so I do not even think to try and teach.
As I improve my game and my understanding of the game, I will definitely want to share it with other, more inexperienced players. So far I am just giving my humble opinion and do not pretend to be always right.

nice competition I've totally missed because I've not played a lot poker for last 18 months or so. I'm definitely going to take part and snap those daily 5 points as often as I can.
I see it's been trolls and spammers game earlier. Hope you fix the rules this month. I quickly checked SNG HA page and one thing about rules came in my mind. I found out that there a lot of posts where the original poster sends the hand history on post #1 and then the question in post #2. I can't help my self thinking it seems like "stretching" the rules.
When I last time posted hand histories the common way to do it was to have both hand history and the question in same post.
If rules are that you get points from post #2 for your own post, then I of course do so my self. How you guys see the rule or how SvenBe define it to be this month?
For the SP we will only do occasional checks. For the winner of the 50$ we will raffle among all guys with the number of qualifying posts. We than check the winner for "spam" and would raffle again if we find too much. I will not post %, numbers or so, as this is hopefully for everyone just an addon to the awesome disucssions you guys have.
For the posts: It depends - if it is a question that needs some explanation, I surely will not mind a 2nd post. If it is only a "and,would you fold?" it hardly qualifies as useful extra post.

If I post one hand history per day does that gain me 5SP?

If so, does a reply on my own hand history count as a post?

So far I'm not seeing any more spam than before. The old system wasn't perfect either and I think this new system might even reduce spam 
Also you have to remember that spam posts won't count in this promotion and if anyone starts really spamming their account will be restricted

You only earn points when you reply to an existing post created by someone else.

- any reply, even to your own post counts. That's how our system works. We do know that this can be abused by posting a hand, asking "do you like it?" and collect 5 points.
- We do know that in a few cases people will do this, still the points are awarded automatically.
- What we do know here is occasional checks from Gibraltar side + have our moderators and coaches who also frequently visit topics + checking thoroughly the winner of the raffle for the $50 + in case we see anything questionable we will retroactively change the point allocation for that user.

Also a question. I was rewarded a status upgrade but also went to Silver again based on my post count. This means I can't get a status upgrade from the reward system of turning 4th on the forum?

It is entirely possible that the status upgrade went to the wrong dude (me). I shouldn't have gold atm.
