Done and I guess this was a 9 man tournament or so.

I’m not too familiar with live freerolls, but normal you can even consider isolating the limpers pre-flop with a raise to 500 in total. This way it’s less likely you will end up multi way and you have the imitative during the hand as well.

As played I would be cautious in a family pot like this. Off course you have a good draw, but you have still nothing if you miss and it’s unlikely all players will fold anyway. So I would go for the passive approach with checking and hoping to get my flush as cheap as possible.

The turn is a tricky card, because you have only top pair and you still play against 3 other players.
So I expect you get only action of better if you shove and it’s not to unlikely 1 of the 3 has at least 2 pair here. So I would go for the cheap showdown with in mind you are or slight in front or far behind here.

I agree with your points and I would normally flat call this bet to see the river.

however on the turn my hand had improved to two pair, A6. I had in total 13 outs, to improve my hand to a monster. I thought I was good to shove, when the cars went on the backs I was 'surprised' to see a straight but then felt a bit stupid for not realising how bad that ace actually was for my hand.

Plugged it into equilab, against the button and his range, only including the combos he may bet with on the turn, before I knew what he had my equity was around 60%.

I think my mindset is still wrong, I would have been happy for all to fold and me win the pot at that point, I think this is what i was hoping to achieve with the shove.

It's confused me tbh, I made two big mistakes on the night, both involved two pair

I miss read the 6 on the flop. Then it’s indeed more likely you get action with worse on the turn and then is shoving not bad I think.

Once you bet the flop and improve on the turn and still with the NFD draw I dont think you can do anything else other than shove.

OTF I would go for a c/c vs so many opponents, if someone bets the flop then OTT I would go for a c/c again , if the flop was checked round then I think you can bet the turn because realistically you're only beaten by JT and 66 (only 1 combo left) as any other hand that has you beat would have raised pre flop
