The best team in the world doesn't need the best player to collect titles. I was sorry for Ronaldo when he had to leave the pitch, but as a Portugal fan I somehow was happy when he left - that way people cant say Portugal is nothing without him 
Only surprising thing in the match for me, was that it is (in my opinion) Portugal's worst player in the squad that scored the winner goal... I cant remember the last time I saw Éder hit the ball and it actually went the way it was supposed to go
