I am interested how many times you pro's or semi pro's from PS lost your BR or at least lost half of it, before you learned your lesson and discipline yourself.

I lost about 50% but it was due to downswing over period of 2 months..

I am asking because i believe, that losing bankroll or in general losing is natural process of learning poker and to become disciplined player (successful player).
Am i right? Your opinions, please thanks.

losing bankroll is not natural... It's the biggest leak someone can have in poker. Sure, it can happen in the beginning, but if one is not able to work on his/her selfdiscipline, he won't be successful in poker.. ever.

I lost $40 of my original $50, after that I never went broke, or got close to it. Lost half of my BR once because of a downswing, but discipline saved me :)

I got my 50$ down to 17$ I think because I just couldn't play well enough. Then I got a second capital from another site and made it into a decent bankroll which I moved back to an account tracked to pokerstrategy..
Then I lost half of my bankroll during my first downswing which I didn't handle very well...

I lost about 35$ (from my original 50) before I started making a profit ^^

I am glad i managed to discipline myself too, when i lost half of my BR, now it's growing steadily back to 500$.
