Most people forget to check their stack when they have a lot of chips and make the mistake of getting comited with unnecessary bets. Remember to know the exact size of your stack before placing any amount of chips on the table .

Very true in most of my plays. I don't intend to bet big amount of chip but I accidentally committed during one of my plays. That's why I agree with you to properly stack up the chips to avoid mistakes on betting.
That’s right for sure, but checking villains stack is also important. Especially when he has a shorter stack then you have.

Great point to make 
I think this is especially important to check when you are multi tabling. I've made the mistake of forgetting that either my opponent or myself is short stacked and making an auto-pilot fold when I should really be calling the 2 or 3 big blinds.
