I'm Kevin, 23 years old and I live in Belgium. I recently started my own little company called Rockaholic Entertainment. Goal is to organise all kind of music-related events going from a rockrally to a drum & bass party, a festival and clubtour (titled EnterThe101 ). I just begun this and I'm still studying for an extra degree in Marketing. I already have a degree (class of 2007) in Communications - Event.

The first two smaller events from the clubtour are all set for half March and I'm very excited about it! The bands that are performing:

In about two months time i will be joining the military.Training as a medic

I'm UW alumni too, and that article seems to have omitted a guy who was in some of my math classes, Michael "SirWatts" Watson (he won the WPT Bellagio cup last year)

I have run a couple of yugioh tournies in my time...we got permission to use a food court in a mall, and the buy-ins covered the prizes (that we sold in our store). All went well both times.

If you have people that know what they are doing you will have a smooth night.
It isn't that hard to run.
Main problems could be that someone needs a ruling on something, they haven't heard blinds are up so they whinge there blinds go up in the next 3 hands or something.
Slow dealing/drunks.
Sometimes get aggressive/rude people and I have to kick them out/ban.

All you need to run a poker tournament is:
Dealer Button.
Big and Small blind if they need it.
Deck of cards.
Cut card.
Chips.
Table.
Chairs.

For bigger tournaments, table numbers, maybe a laptop with a Program called "Tournament Director"
This keeps a reminder of blinds and time of blinds, etc etc.
Easy to work out pay structures.

It's quite popular, as an undergrond scene. It might sound contradictional, but it's true. Belgium has so many underground scenes and DJ's / bands can be known in the whole of Benelux by that scene yet without ever been on tv / radio. That's what I love about the music scenes here, they're so diverse and a great fishing pond if you're looking for new talents.

I'm a slacker/student, spent two years mastering the art of physics, failed and now I'm in my first year of "industrieel ingenieur" = engineer, but the easy kind (ask timor about the hard kind ^^)

i manage the office of a london based chauffeur company. I work nights 4 on 4 off and can play at work all night long so techinically i get paid to play yanks at poker, so i normally double up my weekly salary ;P

ALTHOUGHT SOMETIMES THIS LEDS TO PROBLEMS WHEN THe owner visits halfway thrtough a tourney as happened during last sundays botd.........................i didnt want to push my 77s but knew if i didnt by time i got back would be blinded out so had tyo go for it i lost and then hit quad queens with my remaing 60 odd chips next hand with 5 runners lol life suks but mostly is good hehe

Looking fwd to playing in the WSOP Circuit in San diego hehe 16 days n countin

Anyway, unemploayed atm, was selfemployed last 2yrs, plan to finish my studies any time soon. Maybe in next 5 years. Actually, make it 10. Just to be sure.

I am 22 and i work as a senior security specialist and virus analyst in one of the biggest anti virus companies, apart from this i am 3rd year student in computer technologies, but i am constantly failing on the exams because of work/poker ♦
