This is HUSNG.

I searched Villion, and he is from Finland and new to the game.
Villion checked, I made CBET with TPGK, and villion shoved, which is 10 times bigger than pot.

How do you interpret sudden big shove from newbie?
It should be easy fold from 6 or 9 max. But I am not sure what to do in heads up.

If I put him in a range with a top pair or better(two pairs or set), I have 45% of equity.

Easy call. You beat like 40% of his value range, plus he has some FDs. Also you have to ask yourself would he really just shove sets and 2 pair? And would he really just flat AJ+ preflop?

I call there as well, you beat many Ax hands and FD, plus new players generally love big bluffs

Thanks guys.

After I read your all valuable answers, I think the punch line is if his 10x shoving range contains FD or not.

If he is a managing or winning player, I don't think he shoves with FD unless he has a pair+FD.
If he seems to be on tilt or super maniac, it should be slightly +EV to call, assuming he shoves with FD.

The guy here seems to be newbie, but did have enough info if he is maniac or not.
That means I could have slight edge over a newbie, which I can give up close all-in call :)

The result is I called and he shows AKs.

Yeah... you can always rematch the guy and since it was a short match the chances he agrees to rematch are higher.

The spot is alot close in an MTT where you HAVE TO win your match and I agree with folding.
