This is $3.5, 18 man SNG.
8 People left.

UTG +2 with 30 VPIP, min raised, and I called with K5s.
I got a top pair on static board K♠: 8♥: 4♣: , and check called c-bet.
We both check on the turn, and J♥: came on the river.

So, the board is K♠: 8♥: 4♣: 7♥: J♥:

I think in position, even a top pair with a weak kicker should value bet two streets on a safe board.

What about OOP? Would you lead here or check to induce bluff? What is your standard line?

I looked at the flopilza, and it looks like i can get value from MP, LP more than I get reraised.
But not quite sure if EV(BET) > EV(CHECK) since he may bluff his air hand. I have not much postflop infomation of him.

(I gave him, top 20% according to his mp open, and removed a set, 2 pairs and overpair combos as he checked on the turn)

If he had a K he would surely bet turn as the 7♥: makes the board a lot more draw heavy.
If you bet is he going to call
with a weaker K? only K3 & K2
With a J? maybe AJ

I dont think there are many hands he can call with here that you are beating

I'd c/c here and bluff catch

This seems like a check/call line the best option with top pair weak kicker. I don’t think a thin value bet will work here. Another thing is that I would fold pre-flop already with my 19bb stack against an MP2 open. I don’t think you can play profitable this hand with your small stack out of position against most players.
