8♠:9♠: $52.15 is a bit specific isn't it I would have folded, I say 8♠:9♠: because he called the river if he had A♠: and suited kicker then I would have expected him to go all in on the river.
He is strong so he has raised with high card, in the other hand he doesn't protect his hand on dry draw, so he doesn't have strong hand on flop, but he has made hand.
My answer is AJ
CO has the AsTs in my opinion. He must have good cards at the preflop and a flush after the turn what makes CO call the raise of the hero.
33 with one spade
- I think a good player in this stake can tripple barrel with overpairs and two over with balanced ratio
- 33 called down to the river since he only needed to be correct less than 30% of the time on each street.
- As two overs have 16 combos each as overpairs have 6 combos each it would be a right call assuming hero is a good player
- One spade also helped him to call on the river as it blocked a FD with 2 overs.
- I picked 33 from among other marjinal hands such 44 or ace high
- since it is the worst pair (you said it is a hero call) and villion would be hard to call down with Ace high as he didnt not even beat something like AK, AQ, assuming the villion would 4bet with AK.
99. With J or T its not a hero call. He expects us to bluff overcards and may be even low pairs. He doesnt expect us to have flush since we checked flop.
Villain has AJ, let's say A♠: J♣: and he's tryin to pot control from the flop: at the end he simply can't fold a TPTK.
Id say he has pocket 99 since he opens raising but flop board scared him so, knwoing Hero is overconfident and would be bluffing he decides to call on each street
