Hello guys! During the hand I thought that AA is easy to play in 3bet pot and villain has a lot of overpairs in his range (KK, QQ, JJ), so I decided to play just bet-bet-bet.
But now I have some doubts about this line.
I have only 109 hands on him, he plays 17/12, fold to 3bet 100, fold to cbet 100, WTS 10. From this stats he doesn't look like calling station or fish and I have no idea what does his call OTF mean.
In single-raised pot I would've played b/f OTR, but here if I bet turn I'm already comitted. What do you think about this hand and possible lines?

I would had played it same way. Same line but different sizing : 3bet 3.5x OOP and on this drawy flop bigger sizing again ~23BB (maybe even overbet?). It would ease your decision OTT and OTR and then he does mistake calling you flop.

I woud go broke too in that spot. AA in 3bet pot is such a strong hand, I might consider bet/floding on monotone or very coordinated board if I am deep and facing a raise.
But here it looks fine as played.

Nothing fine about it.
Preflop make it bigger. You have raiser+caller.
What is the purpose of the turn and river bets? To make the pot bigger with overpair? Passive is right.

I partly agree with nitrol. Pre-flop might be bigger, but I don´t see that is the biggest problem. I think we shouldn´t bet OTR on the other hand I agree with betting on the turn.

Yes, bigger preflop.

Then on the flop it is time for a calculation. It will boil down to that you don't have enough cash to make three substantial bets. Therefore bet bigger on flop (into the bigger pot generated from the bigger preflop raise). On turn you then move AI (it will be about pot-sized) or (rarely) give up.

I don't, without reads, see the point in making our hand a bluff catcher by checking turn. JQs and 87s are still there drawing and will usually take the free card. Made hands will bet of course. Unless of course he is dumb enough to "protect" holding AT or something. Don't see that happening very often. We have, according to him, AA/KK/QQ and AK and a few AK. He'll take the free card if he needs it and can assess our range.

So do you suggest to play x/c turn or x/f?

Why shouldn't we bet OTR? On the river pot is 139 bb and I have 33 bb left. If I have to call a bet from him anyway, then it's better to bet myself, isn't it?

x/r all in is an option on the turn, or just over bet jam. Don't want to see another bad card.

I prefer xc on turn.

As played, xc turn is horrible. (What do you do if 8♣: peels? Save your last 30 bb in a 180 bb pot) Xf or xr AI. if you check

This board hits him better.

Partially agree with Nitrol. Just one note about NL2-NL10 most players would raise their set on the wet board in 3b spot. So, KK would just 4b shove PF, so villain most probably have JJ-QQ(6), AcTc- AcKc(4),99-TT(6). I guess depending on size OTT we could XC or even XF.

imo the fact that there are some better hands possible doesn't always mean we should check. I agree with Yohan and wouldn't check call here.

It does. But why put him in charge? We should set the price, not him, and we don't want to let him get more ideas about our weakness by turning the hand face up. He might decide to become innovative and bet twice with a hand we can beat. Granted, he can become innovative if we bet as well, but is less likely to happen in that case. Betting is a move with a defensive component, just as check-calling. As I mentioned above, I believe lousy draws, say Q♣:Q♥:, will take the free card.

Checking with the intention of calling twice is a different thing, and can be done if the right read (agro pot thief) is there.

I think it is just the bet sizing on the flop, the rest ok. Heads up I would bomb all streets like that the same. We are aggressive players, if villain hits he will get paid off.

This is a sqz pot. Board hits him hard. There are flush and straight and set and 2p better.... No need to bet on turn. QQ may 4b preflop. TT- 99 kill you...

Plus when you bet turn you are left with mediocre size on river.
And so what if a draw takes a free card? 15% chance?
