I would checkback the flop. This flop hits ALOT of suited connector type hand that the big blind would love to defend his blind with. We might have the best hand here but we're so vulnerable and he calls so much here.
As played, I'd checkback the river too. You still don't beat that much and even if you beat some hands, they're probably not calling. There's no use in betting if you only get called by better. You have showdown value with your toppair so take that. It's a very bad spot to bluff too as your hand is too strong for that.

It’s also good to know what your own thought process is during the hand and what kind of villain we are dealing with as well, because than we can give better feedback most likely. Off course is samni’s feedback already good against most villains.
