I mean that almost every nl10-nl25 reg trying to improve has a combination of the sort:
1- Mental game leaks (motivation, confidence, etc), this is the most important one
2- Erratic studying, you don't really know how to improve, so you guys see lots of videos from different people, you take lots of "vacations" from studying, etc.
3- You miss important range and equity concepts, some of those are hard to grasp.
You just have the extra handicap of having less time to juggle these things.
I see ... I think the keyword here would be regularity ... so try to do it regularly. Very hard, sometimes I feel completely burned out I think I don't need to introduce it to you. Very important to me, that I can see your example so I see it is possible even if you are not full timer.

i don't think it is possible to use time management in a way that every aspect of your life is strong, sorry.
What i tend to do is to make periods of time that i dedicate to a certain part of my life.

I'm kinda on a forced vacation, since we had a Poker black out here in Portugal until the Poker Rooms got their license up and running with the government, they expect to re-open in October.
So, I'm trying to be efficient and take advantage of the spare time. Learning German right now at a good pace (Wie ghet es dir?). Doing some exercise, ~60min per day. Studying Neurology a lot more.
Also planning to do an intensive Poker Study (using mainly Pio Solver, but other stuff as well), but I'm postponing that to the second half of August.

I have a question that I posted on my latest blog entry and would love to have your insight on!
When does someone start to get coaching lessons?
I have no idea if its better to get coaching lessons right away or only after you are stuck at a limit.
Right now I think I have a good grasp of things that I need to learn, like really internalizing the various ranges for every position I'm in (RFI, CC, 3B) and get a feel for common hand vs hand equity scenarios (Flush draw vs Top of UTG NIT range) and stuff like this (which I still dont know by heart)
Should I wait until I have no clue what I'm doing wrong? Should I wait until have more hands (3K atm)?
Or should I get coaching right away so I'm sure I'm spending my (limited) time on poker the right way and maximizing my learning? (like you I have a full time job and only have ~2 hours a day for poker)
This last point is actually my main concern as I am afraid that I'm being really noneffective with my time...

Good question. I think there's enough good material available for you to go up the limits up to 25nl just by yourself. I think that by then you should start looking to get coaching if you want to be more time efficient (which everyone should do, even those with a lot of spare time), the investment you make it will be well worthwhile in the long run, you just improve faster and therefore will win more money faster. Specially if you prepare your private coachings well.

Oh wow, I didn't know about Portugal regulations. I have been away from most poker news actually, and not looking like I will get back to this game. Still in Vienna, grinding business instead of poker.
Sounds like the forced vacation is not so bad for you though. Would be good if you can do all that while you can also grind, haha.

I think it has to be DVI-D to get those 2560x1440.

Someone isolates limper, we are in blinds. What range do we call?
Example UTG limps, MP raisies, we are in BB. What do we call (by default)?
Then if lets say BTN raises - how then it changes?
Also when we are in SB - we probably mostly 3bet or fold.
Now I do not know aproximate range, and since I am afraid to be too loose, by calling and be 3way OOP, I just 3bet or fold.
