Watched movie: Jiro Dreams of Sushi
Inspiring Quote: “You have to fall in love with your work. Never complain about your job. You must dedicate your life to mastering your skill. That’s the secret of success… and is the key to being regarded honorably. I’ve never once hated this job. I fell in love with my work and gave my life to it."
He is 85 years old and all he did is sushi. He is very perfectionist and wants his job to be closer to perfection.
Other employees of him understand that and are placed in a position that they too have to be very rigurous ... and not do it for the money , they do it to please the bosses perfectionist ideas.
Even the customers are aware of the bosses perfectionist ideas and are feeling anxious (out of their comfort zone) eating there. That may be a reason of restaurant's success !?!

What is channeling?
a natural state that we all have the ability to do it and we do it from time to time.
We kind of open up to the bigger picture of our constiences . it is anything you do or love to do and when ur in that state u dont notice the passage of time and u are focused on your passion.
Eg. actor that is lost in the carracter, singer that is lost in the song ,etc

I used to lose track of time while playing and this explains why phil ivey said he can play for long hours without losing focus.
When channeled u can see the hand from other points of view , both from you and your oponent, you can see more plans to play and it is how u can be creative with a fancy play. Tapping into this state of mind is a must.

How to improve?
Your current conception of who you are and where you stand, you have to give up completely.
Whenever u take a new identity and acting trough the new identity, never expect your emotions to align with that.
In time you will act trough the new identity , your emotions will realign with the new identity.
Then u pick a new identity and repeat the process.

Be disgusted by comfort (it keeps you mushy , fragile, loose)
Discomfort is necessary for growth (it keeps you sharp , alive, antifragile)
We find comfort in our looks, our friends, our thoughts . You have to make the shift and get addicted to discomfort and put yourself into uncomfortable situations !

Motivation
What happened with me ? How i lost my motivation?
i made the leap , worked on my game and was having good results and felt like crushing.
With time i started telling myself i am doing pretty good, doing good, and then good enough. I became comfortable again.
I was winning and was winning enough that it felt ok and stopped my session when i was pleased with my results. This was my fear of success. Also i feared of losing my status, i was a poker coach that had to live onto the expectation of a winner ,and i was getting more afraid to leave my comfort zone and actually improve. After i won and won day by day, i kept playing less and less until i just got bored from poker and lost all motivation.

*you addiction to comfort is the biggest motivational killer
it is important to not find comfort along your way because we tend to find comfort even in success, just like i did

*the better u become the harder it is to keep yourself motivated
because after u achieved something ,your improvements become smaller and smaller
while the efforts are big and you have to leave being up there and u have to work like crazy just to make a tiny improvement
and a lot of guys start say i am good , im good enough.

*Fuck good enough. You are here to reach your full potential, dont be afraid to lose what u achieved, dont ever get back to a life of comfort. Get addicted to discomfort! Be afraid literally if things get too easy!

Have a spine, a strong purpose, a drive, a clear direction, a true north with strong personal boundaries and feels good by pursuing your purpose.Focus on the process, focus on yourself and just assume results will come because they will.
Focus on bettering yourself as a persone, become the best you can be and that there is what should motivate you

Spoiler

6 Requirements for success (Brian Tracy)
-PEACE OF MIND (freedom from fear, anger, guilt)
-HIGH LEVELS OF HEALTH & ENERGY
-LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS
-FINANCIAL FREEDOM
-WORTHY GOALS AND IDEALS
-FEELING OF PERSONAL FULFILLMENT (internal fullfillment)

I always thought knowledge is the most important thing to achieve success. After learning some psichology about self development , i realized relationship is more important. Blew my mind when i found out actually vision has the most importance procentual wise. To work on vision i will ask myself every day where do i stand now and where do i want to get?
-5% knowledge
-25% relationship
-70% vision (what u feel, what u think)

Next thing that i write here under this image, is the highlight of my day, the most important thing i did today (the fact that i was able to write on paper my next goal)

where do i stand now?
today i felt ok at the tables , played 6 x 25nl. Was not thinking too much. Played 2 hours.
where do i want to get?
-i want to play 10 hours in a day and at the end i want to be in profit.
-i want to get involved in other places to play poker, like live cash games, or other platform
