Using a BRM is very important. The main idea is that when you start losing for whatever reason, go to a lower limit so you don't lose your whole stack. Whether you go down when you have only 20 or 40 stack left doesn't matter that much in my opinion.

Bankroll management doesn't make you play better. It only saves you from bad swings. If you want to deposit only once, maybe it is better to go with the conservative one. If it is no problem for you to deposit again if you lose some money because of bad variance, I see no problem in using the aggressive model.

Aggressive model is good because it lets you go up faster. That way you are not wasting your potential by playing thousands of hands at NL5 when you could easily be crushing NL10. On the other hand when you hit a bad run it forces you to go down faster. Maybe you could use something in between? Like 30 buy-in BRM. Or maybe you can use the conservative one but when you are feeling confident you could sometimes take a 1 or 2 bin shot at a higher stake?

I become more spewy when I'm with bigger bankroll, so it depends. Don't expect an advice valid for each situation. If you feel comfortable playing NL10 with a bankroll of 200 go ahead, why not. Just don't tilt. If you lose 30-40 bucks go back to NL 5 and rebuild, but on the next shot maybe the variation will be on your side and you will reach a bankroll of 300 more quickly.
