No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($52.70)
SB ($50)
BB ($51.45)
UTG ($12.25)
Hero (UTG+1) ($11.20)
MP1 ($9.65)
MP2 ($53.85)
CO ($234.90)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A, K
1 fold, Hero bets $2, 3 folds, Button calls $2, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold

Flop: ($6.50) 6, A, 7 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4, 2 folds

Total pot: $6.50

Standart hand, but what do you think about a check at flop? I understand, that slowplaying top pair isn't a good idea, but its so standart- If I have Ace, than bet, if no than check and those regulars know that so I get no action with TPTK. I guess 6 and 7 on board aren't that scary to me.

What if someone holds 88 and on the turn comes another eight? Slowplay is good with three of a kind and more, with TPTK you have to make a bet.

Not always though ;)

it's simply so strange if you check an Ace-high Flop.

You can check-raise a Jack-highflop 3way with an Overpair.

edit: everybody who does not hold AQ or better is scared of this flop.
So you get no payout of weaker hands here.

I cant imagine a bet from the Button with 99-KK here.

So make a contibet. AQ (AJ) will always pay you here.

Against 2 players I dont like to check to induce a bet from villains

You can post your image right on the spot Jenoc by posting thumbnails ;)

Just bet it as you did
Best regards,
