PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge
We give you the details of how players can fly to Monte Carlo and get in on some televised PokerStars Championship action for themselves.
Do you fancy playing some of the biggest names in poker on TV? Well, thanks to the PokerStars Championship Cash Challenge, you can.
PokerStars are on the hunt for two of their players to take on the very best in the game across the table at the Monte-Carlo Casino later this year.
The lucky pair can expect the following:
• Return flights for two to Monte Carlo
• Four nights’ stay for two at Le Meridien, Monte Carlo
• €500 in spending money (credited to your Stars Account)
• A €12,500 buy-in (anything you win above the €12.5K buy-in and a minimum of 150 hands is yours to keep)
How to win your seat in the Monte Carlo cash game
Qualifying freerolls are taking place daily online at 12:05, 14:05 & 16:05 ET until March 5, but you will need a ticket to play.
Tickets are issued after players deposit a minimum of $30/€28/£24 using the code ‘CASHCHALLENGE’ after which their account will be credited with free daily tickets.
In addition to an added prize pool of $1,000, the top 20 finishers in each ticket qualifier will advance to the casting stage where you will then need to send in a video audition. This is your chance to tell PokerStars all about yourself, but make it as interesting as possible – you will need to catch their attention!
Videos must be no longer than two minutes and recorded in English before being uploaded to your YouTube account and emailed to cashchallenge@pokerstars.eu no later than Sunday March 12. Any video using copyrighted material without permission will not be considered.
Once all the entries are in, PokerStars will review and shortlist the best ones. If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted by phone for further interviews, after which the winners will be selected before heading off to Monte Carlo to play in front of the cameras.
