Fold, I think he has no bluff here.

Why don't you plan a check postflop?

Difficult spot but straight also completes OTT next to trips jacks. I would fold this hand but indeed would consider another line for next time. Especially vs this player. Seems he is betting without too much fear :f_biggrin:

Since MP is a recreational, I thought we have more value with betting. He can call with all Kx, AQ, AT (maybe even all Ax given the texture), gutshots etc.

I'm not happy with his turn raise, ofcourse, but I think calling once and giving up is fine.

yeah the play is good also on the turn no problem.

I think it is difficult to fold on the turn, and i could be a mistake sometimes, so call turn and fold river it's ok.

i think u play very well against a rec, ott its close, but call is fine vs this size, otr is a clear fold vs this kind of villain.

What do we achieve with the turn bet?

I went for value vs Kx, Ax (I think he definitelly has some Ax hands at that point) and protection vs flushdraws and gutshots (but there are not many probably).

Funny board on turn.

As far as I can see, the A was a bad card that didn't improve your hand versus his, but could have turned him into a winner (with QT).
