As I am currently struggling in letting hands go I will post here a couple of hands, where I had trouble deciding what the right thing to do was:

Hand #1

Villain is unknown, apparently loose passive. On the flop I bet for value, protection and to make draws pay for drawing. MAybe I should have bet bigger?
Turn I face a check raise, however not very large. Pot odds are 3:1,having 10 outs for a FH makes this a call
River villain leads, I guess this is a clear fold?

Flop set on wet board. Facing a check raise which is quite smallish, therefore calling is ok I thought. Looking back, I wonder if reraising would not have been better here.

Post hands in separate threads so you can receive a more detailed info.
1. Why don't you xb on turn?
River is a fold as played. With flush and straight possible you may fold.
2. You can fold everything below top 2p.

Hand 1 I don’t think it’s bad to bet the turn for value. Especially if it’s a fish, but without this info is that tough to said. The rest of the hand seems standard with folding on the river.

Hand 2 I would bet the turn not much more than half pot and fold on a shove. Now you are almost committed against the short stack.

Hand 3 I would fold the flop as well against a check/raise. It would be insane for him to check/raise bluff in a multi way pot and we have only 4 outs to hit a full house.

Hand 4 we don’t know anything of the player, but in most cases I would check it down on the turn and river. It’s tough to get action of worse and if bet I would bet around half pot.

Hand 5 seems like a standard 3bet shove for value on the flop on a wet board like this. If he has TT it’s unlucky I think with so many draws and weaker made hands he can have.

Cheers,

3. Just fold. Even if he is bluffing, well done to him.
4. What do you hope for with the turn bet? You want to make pot bigger for what purpose? With every Ax killing you and flush possible, your hand is weak...

5. When you hit your set, just play it fast and try to get the money in as soon as possible...

Hand 1: Board is very wet and dangerous. We should play more passively here. xb seems the right move.
Hand 2: We should fold here. We can follow baluga theorem where we call with 2p+
Hand 3: We cannot call vs a shove. 2p is not enough equity
Hand 4: I would x OTT. We can make a small protection bet OTR but I think the bet OTT is misplaced since only better hands will call / raise
Hand 5: We should definitely raise flop here for value. We hit set OTF and villain raises here; easy shove.

Excellent post. I agree with everything.

IMO hand1 OTT we have an easy value bet. It's a huge mistake not betting that turn since you give free card to a range full of draws realizing their equity cheaply.
