I need that freeroll to Veikkaus Oyj. We need another partner from same time zone. Working times are 8 am to 4 pm & 9 pm to 5 am. That kind turbo freeroll take two, two and half hours with ~1,000 players. I heard, life without turbo is better. - Juha

Hopefully this isn’t serious, but I would recommend at least 20 buy-inns for bankroll management at any cash game limit. That means you can better start with at least $40 at NL2, $200 at NL10, etc., but on the limits like NL100 or higher it’s better to use a lot more than 20 buy-inns before you take a shot, because the players will be better on every limit and that makes the variance higher as well.

If you use your bankroll management you will be broke in no time or you are the luckiest poker player in the world.

I understand you are not a winning player. This is the fastest way to get up, admitting the possibility of a mistake. If you lose, you will most often have to admit that you are not skilled enough to win.

That’s good to know. If you can explain how I can have a bankroll of more than $800 without investing my own money as losing player it would be great

I have to be honest: In the tighter games of today, if you're ever anywhere remotely close to in jeopardy of being 20 BI's down in cash games, it's time to move down to lower stakes. 5 or 6 BI's down happens. 10 under EV is even standard. 20 means you're just getting crushed lol.

That sounds legit. Lucky for me I only play it sometimes for fun, but 20 buy-inns was indeed the lowest amount you can use for taking a shot on a new buy-inn. 2 buy-inns is suicide what pahismail suggested, but he’s thinking I’m a losing player. That says enough I think on cash games he could be right, but on my favorite games STT SNG’s and Fifty50’s I’m a winning player for sure on the micro limits or I’m a lucky fish

The cash game is an entirely different animal and certainly isn't for everyone.

I think, that bankroll have been same $800 for years.
This might be hurt little bit, but can you explain us your plan to make it $8,000?

At that: Part of us try make living at poker.

I play poker most for fun and I don’t care how long it will take to make a bankroll of 8k what you suggested. Only a few players can really life from poker and based on your bankroll management plan it will not work on long run to get a stable income of poker if you invest half your bankroll to play 1 table at once.

If I want to reach an 8k bankroll I would play $7 SNG’s now and start with the $15 SNG’s if I have 100 buy-inns for it. That I will do with the higher buy-inns as well. Off course I need to improve my game a lot to get this far, because when I need to move up the players will be better and harder to beat. In combination with work and other hobbies is that a tough challenge.

That is for cash games pretty much the same, because you can’t play the same game on NL2 on NL200 for example.
