Playing flush draw on flop

Pre-flop seems standard. Maybe you could put this hand in your 3bet bluff range based on his aggressive pre-flop stats. On the flop we have top pair top kicker on a wet board. I would most likely only call. We don’t need to protect our hand and if he shoves we need to hit our flush to win.

Vs agro fish I prefer 3bet, but if there no FE at all pre or post , I prefer fold. Even KQo is better for call or 3bet. Easy to play...As played I will only call on the flop. Call flop, call turn, fold river without good hand. After his reraise, shove is the only option imo.

Why raise? Being OOP you get very predictable taking over the initiative

Do you check raise the flop for value or as a bluff ? This is a clear call to me on the flop. You have TPTK + nut flush draw against agro opponent who might bluff. You will not fold out better by raising and worse is unlikely to call your flop raise.

Im gonna be truthful.
As i had top pair (of course it doest mean much) plus i was drawing to the nut flush i thought the bet can do only good for me before the hand gets too complicated and i will be forced into a tough guessing game on later streets. The flop is wet for sure.
I bet on the flop for value as i thought i had lots of equity and if another spade rolls off on the turn the action might die off even if i bet out plus if i win the pot right away that wouldnt have been bad for me either.
Its probable that i play these situations incorrectly as you all wouldve just checked on the flop. I lost a similar one too yesterday.

AJo is to wide from SB, but you can call vs 44/36, not vs regs. OTF call or raise both are fine OOP, if you have position call is better, when he re-raise you need 78/201- 38,8% to call and against TT+, 88, KQss, Q9ss, 97ss, 76ss (top of range) you have 38% equity and these agro fish can shove much wider imo.

Preflop I think calling or 3 betting is fine.
On the flop, its an easy check/call. You have a very strong hand but you don't want to stack off with it. By calling you keep his weaker FDs in (JQKx) which he might fold to a raise. You keep his Jx in , in which you have crushed.

Raising only isolates yourself against better hands, and allows his weaker holdings that you could get alot of value from to fold.

Ive got one more question though.
When i 4bet it as some of you suggested it goes without saying that i fold to a 5bet (unless i have some special read on the particular player of course). Am i right?
I normally have players basic stats anyway. I like to keep it simple.

You mean 3bet maybe. AJo call vs small 4bet and reads. Also AQo, KQo. You will have enough suited hands and pocket pairs for shove. And AKo obv. Still call is possible vs small 4bet size with most of the hands.

recently people start playing agressive with flush draw without a pair on flop. recetly I played hand with deep stack 200bb+ and lost all in on flop with set to nutss flush draw (flop was only 12 BB)

Makes me wonder.
Im wasting my precious time at 25NL :-)
