QQ vs shortstack vs limp-raiser

I think a mistake is made pre. Calling the 4bet from SB is very weak and passive. I would 5bet here to force SB all-in and put pressure on BTN. If BTN 6bets ( shoves), I would prob make a crying fold.

If looking weak was the purpose, I would deffo shove to BTN's 5bet because he could easily see your call as weak and try to grab the pot or at least try to isolate the shortstack fish.
For me, calling the 5bet as you did, is not an option, either 6bet-shove or fold. (and as said, I can't find a fold here).

For what it's worth, I think you have to call OTF. there is 164BB in the pot and you need to call 60 to have a shot. He has too many overcard-combo's and pairs ( < QQ) in his range to make that fold imo.

Right. As a general rule, you are committed after getting 30-35% of stacks in preflop anyway. Calling to see if you hit a set is madness. Did you think he'd check behind and let you win if he misses too?

That said, there are other imponderables too. When it swings back to you the first time, you have to see another raise forthcoming if you just call. I'd probably throw in a substantial raise there myself.

Why you call with QQ? It is not a good choice. Don't check flop with this hand, make action.
