AJ oop

You invested about 50% of your stack with 2 bets.
Folding after essentially get pot-commited is a bad play in my opinion.
Shoving is not that bad but your opponent doesn't seems fishy by stats (although small sampled) and he could as well have an overpair here.

I dislike the small 3bet, either go big or call. He has 4:1 odds to call your raise in position, as played I would check/fold the turn

Pre-flop with the big antes in play I don’t think it’s bad to 3bet shove out of position and if you want to 3bet the normal way you need to invest almost 1/3 of your stack with a 3x sizing that I would do here if I don’t 3bet shove.

Now you get in an awkward post-flop situation as well with those shallow stacks. On this flop I expect the BTN has a lot of pairs in his calling range pre-flop that doesn’t fold on a Cbet and I would check/fold this flop.

If you 3bet 3x preflop is it 3bet call or fold if he shoves?

Hard to say since its a 25 cent game, but ussually I dont expect the everyday poker player to 4bet A9,AT, maybe 99 but thats best case scenario, so I dont mind 3bet/folding and losing 1/3 of my stack

The 3-bet is too loose in my opinion. I would just flat and see the flop. Check back the flop and see what Villain does. The flop is very draw-heavy and you shouldn´t c-bet oop on this flop, especially not against an unkown Villain. I would play either check-call or check-fold postflop (depending on the reads I have on Villain).

Calling out of position with these stack sizes against a BTN steal seems nitty as well, but I would always 3bet shove in spots like this for 25bb effective when the BTN is raising 2,5x.
