I seriously doubt calling otf could be worse than folding. I mean folding is so out of the question that anything is better. If you think calling is out of the question too, I guess it leaves you no other choice than check-raise...

Weirdly played hand I must say. If you think your opponent is such a nit that you cant 3bet this hand preflop, what worse hands are you expecting him to call check/raise and 3 barrels with?

Yeah, right. So just check/call flop, okay. Say a blank comes on the turn and he bets 2/3 or so. River the same thing. Downcall? Fold?

I'm not saying I prefer calling necessarily, I'm saying I see it as a definitely better option than folding which is not an option.

Also as played I dont see many worse hands calling your river shove, maybe KQ? If he has missed draw he is obviously gonna just fold it.

But IDK, is it standard to call here preflop? If I ended up playing nl2 fullring against shorty fellow I probably would have just 3b and ended up stacking off flop/turn.

On that board, just be happy if you can win a small pot. It is a board with plenty of made hands. These are AQ (12 combos), KJ (6 combos) KT (6 combos), KK (1 combo) JJ (3 combos), TT (3 combos), Q9 (at least the 4 suited combos). That adds up to 35 combos that most people play.

If you go through the list if which possible draws the dude can have, you'll see that there aren't nearly as many of those as there are of made hands. A♠:X:spade:, yes. K♦:Q♦:, sure, but Q♥:2♥: no. Etcetera.

You have an okay, but not marvelous, hand for the situation before raising (TPTK in a small pot). You have an awful hand if the pot gets bigger. Many made hands to fight, and his draws will sometimes hit.

Preflop:
MP2 with these stats should open from mp2 a range around: 66+, A8s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, ATo+ and KJo+.
I would prefer to 3bet in this spot even oop. Why because you’d a lot of equity 60% and blockers for some of his range.

Flop: as played
I would just check call because the board is very wet and trips and straight are 20 combos disregarding flush draws or 2 pairs.
Turn and River: I’ll play in check call
