Known players: (for a description of vp$ip, pfr, ats, folded bb, af, wts, wsd or hands click here)
[tg]BB_5.380:///////;SB_9.526:///////;Hero_2.404:///////;CO_2.690:///////;[/tg]
No-Limit Hold'em Tournament ($3), Blinds 200/400 (4 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BU with 2♠, A♠
CO calls $400.00, Hero folds, SB calls $200.00, BB checks.

Flop: (1200) 4♦, 5♣, A♣ (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, CO checks.

Turn: (1200) J♣ (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, CO checks.

River: (1200) 6♦ (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, CO bets 400, 2 folds.

Final Pot: 1600

So, first in ICM gives this as a push. My question: does CO's limp give me more reason to push (increase my value if all players fold) or make the push more risky by increasing the likelihood of having to see a flop etc?
TIA,
tim

Hello,

I'd prefer to fold there because SB could Call you with pretty loose range because he limped preflop.

Best regards,

Do you mean CO? I didn't know SB limped preflop, until after I'd already folded.

Thanks

Hi all,

I shove here. CO is often limp/folding some trash and I regard him as dead money.

However in terms of Nash ranges, the limper here makes our push worse (ie we should push tighter) because there is another player that can call us and we don't want a call as we're on the bubble.
