I just started playing on these tables with blinds of 0.01-0.02, NL holdem full ring. Normally for BSS I would buy in $2 since that is 100bb, but this type of table allows you to buy in $5. For BSS should I buy in just $2, or the full $5?

Depends on your bankroll and skill level
While normally 100BB is the maximum for most of the games, NL2 games on some sites are extra-deep.In the ideal case you want to have everyone at the table covered, but the game being deeper it becomes more complex, and the swings are bigger.
As a beginner, you'd better start with buying for 100bb, as the bronze articles are based on 100bb stacks.
