ATo, Should I have folded here, or do you think I played this right considering the pot odds

Started playing on a new site today, BETOnline because its softer than the last one I was playing on, and im loving it. Anyway here is a hand I played tonight where I ran into some trouble. My reason for continuing in this hand was because of the nice pot odds I was getting to continue. The player looked to be a little on the fishy side early on (I dont have many hands on people since im just starting on this site). He was open limping and had about a 45/25 VPIP in limited hands. Anyway he kept throwing 25% pot odds at me and I kept calling despite the fact he is showing a potential straight with a 3, which I should have put into his range, but still with such good odds it was hard to hit the fold button. What would you have done if you were in my spot.

Calling there with AT is something I would not do. Fold or squeeze would be my line preflop.

Then his line is bet/call bet bet.
What hand were you putting him on that you could beat?

As played fold turn.

He bets half pot ever time. Those are not minbets as your post suggest. You lost half a buyin.

Preflop I would usually fold. Another option is to squeeze. Just calling with this hand seems bad because you have a weak kicker, it is offsuit and you will be OOP vs everyone.

As played OTF I would consider leading. Check raising is bad. You just end up isolating yourself against a very strong range.

When the guy calls your raise OTF and then bets twice, I think he very often has at least 2 pair.

You already figured out that you have to win 25% of the time to call profitably, so it would be nice to hear on what range did you put villain.

Here the rule:
If you cant explain why you make a certain decision, dont make it.
And if you want us to help you, you have to explain why are you raising the flop? If you explain your thought process maybe we can fix it. Even if its just "I was tilting", because that is a reasonable explanation too ;)

I would have just called down. But as played when you check min-raise and he continues to bet we should just fold.

Learn the basics first. In Ps you played with min raise, min bet. As fish. Nothing similar to TAG style. I know that, cuz I am the one , who shoved every time on the river. Your cards was face up.
I know. Very offensive. I hope so. This is for your good. There are a lot of villains on NL25, like me . If I can do that to you, they also can.
Also you are with the same name and pic in the rooms. Don't do that anymore.
I do some things to several japanese regs, because of their activity in the forums. Imagine how hard is for me to do that to you.

Considering the fish in the POT the preflop call with ATo is close, but fine. We just don't want big action vs the actual raiser.

I don't understand your check/raise on the flop, can you explain?

As played the turn is a clear fold considering we show big strength on the flop and villain calls. My population read tells me that people rather check it down with just a weak ace (what you are actually trying to tackle by check/calling). But there are definitely some twopairs, sets, and 3x in his range too! These make up a bigger part than you think and we gotta ask ourselves several questions before we can even continue on the turn:

1) Is it likely that VIllain ca be value betting many worse hands?

2) Does Villain get to the Turn/River with any air in his range?

3) Does Villain credibly represent better hands?

Answering these questions should help you. Then there are specific player or population reads (mentioned above).

GL at the tables :)

The more I thought about this hand the more dreadful it was lol. This hand was just one big mental blunder more than anything because I let my mind convince myself he didn't have anything which is such a fish thing to do, and I fell into the trap. Once in a while this mindset hits me where I play with no logic or control. I forget everything I have learned and I let my mental Game slip. This was absolutely one of those times.

@insomnia - I think you have me mistaken for someone else. I have never played on ps. I'm in the US and we don't have it in the state I live in.

@mistersns, you nailed it and I should have thought about this too! Sounds like you have read The Grinders Manual by Peter Clarke and what you said comes from the book. It's an amazing book and I am learning so much from it as a read. I will definitely read through it twice because it can get intense! But yea those 3 questions I need to get into my thick skull because I keep making the same mistake over and over again. Look back at my past hand reviews and you will see a common theme. I think this is very mental for me.

As for my raise on the flop, I was trying to isolate the fish and get rid of the reg who was in the hand.

I'm going to paste those words to my monitor SNS lol!

No? You are not the same guy? Mario something with the same pic, played on Zoom NL25, then on NL10 for a short time and now he is gone. What a relieve! Sorry then for my words.I guess I made overbet shove several time vs some random tight fish. I am such a maniac. Shame...
