PokerStars - 8000/16000 Ante 2400 NL - Holdem - 6 players
I satalited into this mtt.
BTN: 30.15 BB (VPIP: 55.56, PFR: 34.09, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 47)
SB: 24.71 BB (VPIP: 22.63, PFR: 15.56, 3Bet Preflop: 14.06, Hands: 138)
BB: 20.18 BB (VPIP: 15.00, PFR: 10.00, 3Bet Preflop: 5.26, Hands: 40)
UTG: 125.9 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 18.18, 3Bet Preflop: 10.53, Hands: 89)
MP: 102.04 BB (VPIP: 26.19, PFR: 21.43, 3Bet Preflop: 8.70, Hands: 42)
Hero (CO): 22.01 BB

6 players post ante of 0 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.4 BB) Hero has K♥ J♠

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, BB raises to 20.03 BB and is all-in,

Spoiler

Hero calls 18.03 BB

Flop: (41.47 BB, 2 players) T♣ 3♥ 7♥

Turn: (41.47 BB, 2 players) T♠

River: (41.47 BB, 2 players) A♦

BB shows Q♥ A♥ (Two Pair, Aces and Tens)
(Pre 64%, Flop 83%, Turn 89%)
Hero shows K♥ J♠ (One Pair, Tens)
(Pre 36%, Flop 17%, Turn 11%)
BB wins 41.47 BB

His Bounty was at this point 750 Dollar.

So when i buy in in this mtt and receive for 50 Dollar 5 k chips and the other 50 is Bountie.
Then i can say 50 Dollar are worth 5k Chips.

So his bountie is then 75 k Chips worth.

i have to put 290k into pot to win 663 k with the bountie added its a pot of 735k.
Then its 290/735= 0.39 Equity is needed.

if i gave him a 7.84% 3bet range which inclue 77+,AJo+ ATs+ and KQs i got 32.5 % equity.
so i this would be a -6.5% EV call. pretty bad overall esp. at a FT. No?

Am i right with theese calculation?
I think he wont shoving much wider.

Thank you.

Seems like a loose call against a TAG with KJo and your calculations looks good to me.
I would fold this hand.

Seems like the antes aren't counted in for; it's in the header of the blindlevel, but it's not in the potcount of the hand history.
That 14.4k chips doesn't make a heap of difference though.

Villain seems tight (could be of stack dynamics in this format) and villain is putting his tourney life on the line.
We need ~38% and I don't think villain will ever be wide enough to make this a call.

* i did in my calculations the total pot, so i did as well your right it doesnt afffect it too much in a 40 bb pot

*yeah he was handcuffed bec of smallstackes all the time. Gave him therefore pretty tide range. Should be pretty accurate.

tbh i gambeld there probably a little, and i got a similar spot early, where i did sloppy analysis while onetableing. And thought its pretty close and went for the possible big stack and better position in this mtt.

its not my stackes i come this far through a satelite. and i am was a little devastated bec of ruff life cirumstances and i was top 3 stacks as we arrived at FT. I was in two Hands involved where i made some mistakes. luckyly i was able to regain some chips. But overall a little nervous, and have often the amateur manner to act too fast therefore i lost huge portions of my stack. usually i win FTs when i got a big stack, was therefore a little deillusioned about it. And made a too loose call.

Also i bust here a lot of the time while if i am a little patient i can for sure get some chips, a doulbe up and ladder up. And go for HU where i got lot of xp.

Thank you guys for replying.
