I consider myself as a tournament and SNG player, never paying attention to such things as spin-and-go or power up.
I also put zoom tables in the same basket. Though today youtube suggested me a video of Russian guy getting up from $100 to $1000 at zoom tables just in 3 hours.
That made thinking... not like I'll strive to repeat that but...
I'm wondering what is generally considered as fastest way to build a fortune?

I don't think there is one correct answer to your question. If there would be one, I think ppl would clearly favor one format over another. The fastest way of course is to win a large field MTT but chances of winning one are low. With MTTs it is a good payday when you win but you might have to wait for a big win, in cash games you might make steady progress.
If we talk about cash zoom vs regulars: at zoom you get a higher volume but on the other hand at regular tables you might have a higher winrate.
In the end my advice would be to pick a format you like most and start studying it
