Is 80 BB downswing normal?
I just lost 80 BB today... and yesterday I was doing so well... Or am I just too noob in this game?

depends on what you are playinng.
- FL = normal variance. (I think 80BB doesn't count as downswing)
- BSS = not even a stack
- SSS = standard. not downswing.
I can only WISH some of my downswings were ONLY 80BB!!
Your worst downswing hasn't happened yet. It will...guarantee it will.

Yes I bet it will come, but it does not motivate me, because I started yesterday and I just suck...
SSS is very swingy stuff, anyway, my advice is to post your hands in SSS sample hands section. You are new and you need to work on your game.

Its both i guess
but anything up to 400BB is fine for SSS) don't think about about it too much though... Whenever you waste your mental energy thinking about variance, remind yourself that its actually better to do something useful) like post a random hand, evaluate a hand or reread an article ) Because it helps and thinking about downswing not ![]()
good luck with your career
standard variance :P. I hit a 350BB downswing yesterday on NL10 but made it all back today and am already in profit :). Just stick to the SHC and study some articles about postflop play, throw your hands in the evaluation section, etc. and you'll be fine :).

lol, agreed
Very bad day... Lost over $7 on NL10... I just did not get any hands... and once I got it, I was dominated...
I hope my luck turns back again, because I am running out of money...
No, its not downswing... this is:

All sessions is EV+, but what i can do, when everytime i push with QQ against AK river brings K or A.... allways.
