PokerStars - 100/200 Ante 25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 21.5 BB (VPIP: 27.69, PFR: 15.63, 3Bet Preflop: 11.76, Hands: 71)
SB: 13.54 BB (VPIP: 27.38, PFR: 16.87, 3Bet Preflop: 9.09, Hands: 90)
Hero (BB): 9.97 BB

3 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.88 BB) Hero has 4♦ 8♦

fold, SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero checks

Flop: (2.38 BB, 2 players) 8♣ 4♥ T♥
SB checks, Hero bets 1.59 BB, SB calls 1.59 BB

Turn: (5.55 BB, 2 players) Q♦
SB checks, Hero bets 3.7 BB, SB calls 3.7 BB

River: (12.94 BB, 2 players) 5♥
SB bets 7.13 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 3.56 BB and is all-in

This hand is against a player who doesn't seems a fish, probably recreational. I think this is another example where i'm not planing my size bet when playing, reviewing the hand on this board where my hand is a little fragile and there so many cards on turn that can devalue i have to almost bet pot and then shove. On his range there some Tx, flushdraws or straightdraws so i think is going to call with much hands.

Cumps ;)

Only the sizing is indeed the issue here, but the rest is well played.
If you bet almost pot you can indeed shove the turn.
