SB range construction after the hobby player limp on the button

Hard to give an exact figure on this. The tighter the BB is, the more equity realisation you get. Because he will check alot of his hands behind, then you're playing vs a 100% range of him postflop that just has to fold alot (also sandwiched with the fish behind).

And ofcourse it depends on how fishy the BTN is, if he's sticky or random spazz i would tighten up my limp strat, if he's fit/fold you can limp superwide etc..

Do you know how much you actually need to realize?

Anything better than -50 bb/100 should be fine (include some rake, so let's say -40bb/100).

Remember that you play some hands to win just evey 5th time or so. Which is bottom end of your range, hands like K6s, 97s. And even if you lose less than 40bb/100 it is actually a win.

Against a limper from BTN:
- I might defend close to 40-50% hands if SB (EDIT: I meant BB) is a nit and nits don't fight for pots too much.
- against smarter BB It's hard, because he realizes his and our (big limping range) equity and can easily raise some turns after Flop goes x/x/x. So, a bit tighter range here for me.
- against loose-passive player I'd play about 40% range and generally be honest since he'a station.

To be honest, there is not a single approach. Every situation is different. Also, just check your database to see which hands you must never play (big loses -50bb/100 and more) and go from there.

Another intersting point is if you should raise really wide, assuming that BTN is somewhat fit-or-fold (and BB is weak/nit).

And I don't play honest most of the time and figth for pots. My WWSF is quite high, so it depends …

I would personally limp 100% here, a good recommended safe solid range is around 60-80%. The fish doesn't pose a threat, and the BB wouldn't dare to isolate too wide vs a super stationy fish cos there's no point raising his 45s/22-55 here when the fish is gonna call with his 86o. You can then attack most super dry boards with halfpot donkbets
