A4o vs agressive fish preflop

Agressive fish stats are 64 VPIP, 32 PFR and 17 3-bet. In my opinion I played a little bit too loose as I was too deepstacked for 3-bet shove and even if I think I am way ahead of fishes open raising range I guess A4o is too marginal/weak in this situation for resteal. Otherwise it could be nice to pick up 311 chips from pot which is 25% of my current stack.
What do you guys think?

I think it's a little loose even against an agressive player, you will have better situations. You could raise with ATs+, AJo+, 88+ something like this

I don’t know if he’s always making it 4x pre-flop. That could be a bet sizing tell and you could have less fold equity than normal if you shove. That’s why I would still fold and push with better Ax hands.

Oh I forgot to mention that. He was making 3-5x openraises randomly. A few hands before he made 4x with something like K7s if I am right.

However, as I said - I agree with you and I think it would be better to fold and wait for better spot.

Mayb3n0T, that range in my opinion is too tight for reshove at those SNG’s. It is turbo type 6max. I would easily make resteal allin here with range like 66+, A8s+, A9o+. And even more loose because of this specific opponent. But yea, A4o was too marginal/weak to do that.

I would also pay attention to his fold to 3bet stat.
Against these players I prefer to play out postflop (in general - not saying that you should call here ) and take advantage of my edge (that I know where the fold button is) rather than go pf all in 55 - 45 or 45-55 having only variance as a factor. We have to allow him to make the mistake he likes = call or bet when he shouldn't.

It's early and you will have better chances later or you will be more forced for this also .
